Is the Gorilla Press Slam named after Gorilla Monsoon? Or was it named that before/after him?

hmmmm that is a good question, If i had to give it a guess Id say it wasnt named after him and just called that.

Its named after the point in the fight in King Kong vs Godzilla, where Kong lifts Zilla above his head, drops him down, bounces off a couple of buildings are gives Z a splash.

Also makes me wonder about "irish" whip, "german" suplex and "russian" legsweep.

Seriously, no shit I thought of that. But there are plenty of moves named after wrestlers and thought this MAY have been one. It's not exactly a stretch.
