Who needs a new theme?

The World's Greatest Tag Team - Angle isn't around anymore, and they're different now than they were in 2003. They have a new look too.

Matt Hardy - If he's going to have a succesfull singles career, he will probably need an updated look, attitide, and theme.

I also gotta say the Sandman. He walks through the crowd for his entrance, so a song with simple lyrics the fans can sing along to would add to it.

RAW, Cena, Melina, Santino Marella, WGTT.

It's not a new theme, but I'd love for Super Crazy to go back to his old ECW theme.

Mr. Kennedy, besides the Mrrrrrr Kennneddy part the rest is awful, and it's gets no reaction.
Randy Orton, his theme is too happy for a ME heel.

Yeah, why don't we give her generic, bland, stripper music like all the other "Divas" on the rostsr. :roll:

It would have to be pretty simple for your average John Cena mark.

There are only so many times you can use the word "the" in a chorus though.

How about they just fire his worthless ass, then I don't have to look at him AND we don't have to worry about his theme.

There are so many more. I can still mark out for Cena's on occasion, it does the job.

Regal. If he's gonna be shoved in the way of the IC, then Regal definitely. I also think Lashley needs something more.

But as someone said, all but a few themes are a bag of shite.

I think a lot of great themes have been mentioned in this thread. Mr. Kennedy's theme is fine, in my opinion. It's a great theme, and it suits his personality well. I also like Chavo's theme. I like Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas' theme, but I can see why people are calling for a change. A new theme might be able to freshen them up a bit. They've both moved on from being soulless wrestling machines, so something less classy and heavier at the start would be suitable. Maybe even Charlie Haas' current singles theme?

One I strongly disagree with is Matt Hardy. I don't see why this guy would need to change anything to be a main eventer. He has made all the changes he needs to, it's the WWE that needs to push him. His ring attire is pretty cool, and his music is great. It reminds me of his Mattitude days, which is definitely not a bad thing. If anything, Jeff Hardy is the one who needs to undergo change.

I agree with The Sandman. The guy is growing on me, and The Undertaker's bitch-hate for him gives him my sympathy. He needs way better music, though. Even if it is just a WWE-produced theme with simple lyrics, as someone said.

Bobby Lashley needs a music upgrade, too. If I am to take him seriously as a main event player, he can't be coming out to the same music a guy on Heat could be using.

John Cena's theme annoys the piss out of me. The whole intro really pisses me off. Makes me want to punch Cena in the face. I wouldn't mind it if it didn't have the intro. I think it is time for a change, though.

Kenndey's in petty bad, other then his MISSSTERR KENNEDY to open it, the rest is gay, and doesnt suit him.

Carlito, Orton, Lashley immediately come to mind.

Matt Hardy's is fine. The crowd pops huge everytime they hear it. :y:

Carlito, Carlito, Carlito. It doesn't fit his darker heel character that he's playing now. It was fine when he was a heel the first time around and as a face, but it's gotta go now.

Also, Orton's screams face.

I miss this theme.

Any wrestlers theme MUST HAVE a good opening to make the crowd pop. Like Austin's glass-smashing, the Rock's 'if you smelllll', I dunno they just need a unique opening.

Carlito's theme needs to be changed, it's so short as well he doesn't even get to the ring and the theme has to start again.

And yes, Christian's waterproof blonde theme is the best entrance music of all time :y:

Kennedy's music just needs to be reworked. It has that older Jim Johnston trademark sound to it, which really isn't so hot. If they could get a band to cover it, Forceable Entry style and then add the "MISTERRRRRR KENNEDY" back in, it would be greatness.

WGTT and Carlito need newer, more heelish themes. WGTT may be able to get away with a reworked theme, but they definitely need something better.

Most of the divas' music is annoying.

Marella's theme is great. Shut up.

Since Metallica are huge money-grubbing bitches, it would probably cost way too much to license "Enter Sandman", so why not get the Sandman a knockoff theme like Tommy Dreamer had?

Sandman already has a knockoff theme.

WCW was the worst about knockoff themes. DDP = Smells (Kinda) Like Teen Spirit. Raven = Come As You Are (maybe). The list goes on.

Plus I've heard Benoit's old WCW theme in a porn. :nono:

Oh, I thought the "Just Close Your Eyes" song (his last current WWE song) was what was being referred to, which was awesome...for some reason, that player thing didn't run for me so I couldn't tell which of Christian’s themes it was.

Also, I’d like Triple H to have a better theme song when he returns to RAW in late August/early September.

Jericho's WCW theme was a blatant knock off of Pearl Jam's "Evenflow".

I mean, it's clearly pretty obvious that what happened is when Christian's TNA music was thought up they didn't do much besides tweak the notes of his song and leave it completely unacceptable.
