Anybody going to see Harry Potter on IMAX 3D ?

When it comes out?
Or am I the only loser that has pre-ordered tickets?

That depends. Is this the one where snape kills dumbledore?

Didn't read the books so I couldn't tell ya :-(

Well then, I'm out to lunch until I know if I'm watching a Dumbledore snuff movie in the iMax experience or not.

No way in Hell someone fucking preorders tickets to the movie without reading the book.

Unless... Can you read?

Yes, I can read.
There's only one IMAX within like 3 hours of me, and all the showings are sold out. I bought mine for like a week after it comes out, and even my showing is sold out already.

Guess people are big HP fans here.

I don't know. Most of the people I know who have read the books hate the movies. They've got some decent, albeit mostly petty reasons. It seems like the movies and the books don't exactly have entirely the same audience. So he could have preordered tickets based no the movies themselves.

The guy who badgered me into watching the first three and his wife outright REFUSE to read the books. Which is funny, because he "can't wait" to find out what's next.
