Pillman (I'm not quite sure but I think he was fighting for the vacant IC title at Bad blood)
Eddie (WWE)
Benoit (ECW)

Tis easy to say 'He was gonna win the title' after they die, can't prove or disprove it either way. Some of your examples seem right, Benoit and Pillman but who knows for the others.

I'm prety sure Owen was too.

Pillman was suppose to face Goldust that night and the plan was for Marlena to turn on Goldust and go with Pillman full time.

Owen's match was an IC title match wasn't it?

Eddie had been rumored to be getting WHC for weeks until he died.

I know that Benoit and Owen were slated to win the titles for sure.
I'm pretty sure that the Eddie thing has been all but confirmed.
I never knew that about Pillman.

I'm not sure about Pillman, but I'm pretty sure about the rest.

Never heard about Pillman, and to be completely honest I doubt it.

On Pillmans DVD He said he was facing dude love and Golddust would be hand cuffed at ring side.

nah, Pillman was never slated to win the IC. He was in the feud with Goldust. The plan all along was for Austin to get the Title back from Owen at Survivor Series.

Yeah I was going off what I heard from the DVD I thought Brian vs Dude was the finals for the title. He was in the Tourny right?

yes, he got eliminated by Owen Hart on Raw. Basically, Salughter made them fight and Marlena got Pillman DQ'ed.

The Final was Farooq vs Owen on Raw. Austin hit Farooq with the belt and gave Owen the win.

Pillman wasn't wrestling for a title at Badd Blood, Owen wasn't winning the IC Title at Over The Edge, Eddie was set to turn heel and steal the title from Batista the night he died, Benoit was supposed to win the ECW World Title.

I've read at a lot of places Owen was 100% taking the Title.

A lot of it stemmed from the fact it was in Martha's book, but I remember hearing and reading at the time that the plan wasn't for Owen to take it. I could be totally wrong.

Pillmans last match on RAW though was the I-C title semis against Owen.

Farooq vs Owen for the I-C title was at Badd Blood not RAW LC

Yeah, I have heard that The Blue Blazer was going to win the I-C title and have a lengthy reign with it. The reason they gave the I-C title to Jeff Jarrett was because of Owens death.

Owen and Pillmans deaths were 17 months apart

Eddie and Benoits deaths were 17 months apart

Let's just give the rest of the titles to Cena and everyone will be immortal.
