Wrestlemania X-8 Only Mania that Can Be Re-Created
 

With the recent death of Chris Benoit, I decided to look at all the Wrestlemanias it turns out that if the WWE wanted to re-create any a Wrestlemania with all the in-ring participants, only Wrestlemania X-8 would be possible to be re-created. All 22 other Wrestlemania's have at least one person dead in there. To me that sounds like a tremendously small amount of Wrestlemania's that can be recreated. I haven't done the re-search, if you took the last 23 Super Bowls for Football, once of the most violent sports, I'm sure that you could technically re-create more then one of them with living wrestlers...

The following are Wrestlemania matches that have all dead participants in the match...
--Andre the Giant vs. Big John Studd (Wrestlemania)
--Adrian Adonis vs. Uncle Elmer (Wrestlemania II)
--The Blue Blazer vs. Mr. Perfect (Wrestlemania V)
--Earthquake vs. Hercules (Wrestlemania VI)
--Mr. Perfect vs. The Big Boss Man (Wrestlemania VII)

That is really interesting when you think about it.

Strictly speaking you wouldn't be able to fully recreate WMX8 due to Crash Holly's (admittedly small) part in the Hardcore Title Match.

And only half of the guys featured are on the WWE's active roster.

(I know that's not the point but it interested me so I counted)

Yeah I know but that's why I qualified with in-ring competitors. Crash was a run in so I don't really count it. I couldn't re-create the result, but we could re-create the match.

Good call though, I didn't realize that when I was looking it over.

Oh and by active I mean under contact to wrestle. As in HHH & Taker are 'active' and the APA are not.

No you're missing the point. I'm just saying if the WWE wanted to re-make a Wrestlemania with all the inring competitors from each they couldn't.
