Ok, so rumour has it Regal was sent to RAW for a singles push at the behest of Trips.

Did this push consist of a recent win on Heat over Super Crazy, or will he actually get something more.

Being a Brit obviously I'd like to see him get a run at something, maybe if only IC. The guy can work both the ring and the mic - I know most thing his style is borning but he can at least work.

Anyone think this will amount to much or will he just end up getting squashed in front of his home fans at Raw in October?

Regal should be Raw GM. He was excellent on Monday.

Personally, I think he's done everything he's ever going to do in the ring.

it will amount to fuck all im afraid, I like Regal but he will have a couple of midcard feuds and then end up back on Heat.

He will also no doubt be fed to Lashley and Cena as well.

The Coach should be the new GM with Regal as his assistant...

Thats still something though, ask Val Venis what he would give for a couple of mid-card feuds.

I miss the days of Regal being Commish. His fued with Jericho was particularly entertaining.

I think Umaga should be in a tag team with Khali, thus rendering him to job the IC title...

I would love to see William Regal challenge John Cena for the WWE Championship next week. Have Jonathan Coachman give Regal the title shot because he did a fantastic job handling the WWE Title situation. Then Regal can beat the shit out of Cena. :p

His push really should continue. A loose alliance with King Booker makes sense, as they had the "King's Court" thing going on SmackDown!. Make Regal more of an equal to Booker, though.

Cena has a rudimentary knowledge of how to work in a match, thus negating Regal's need to legit beat the shit out of him in order to make Cena sell. That was actually the only reason why Regal fucked up Goldy to begin with: He couldn't work. No Sell, No Sell, No Sell, Regal Stiff-Ass Headbutt, Sell because his brain really got rattled.

That being said, I'd love to see Regal just Headbutt the unholy hell out of somebody.

They Should put Regal in the IC picture. Get rid of the Samoan shit heap Umaga and use some of the decent talent around the belt...not gonna happen is it...cretins.

Personally, I feel they should take him off TV for a bit and then start airing promos of him training like a motherfucker, British style (ie. Down the pit, eating fish and chips, playing cricket, etc.)

Then have him come back and challenge for the IC title and build from there.

I miss the days where a heel would get a long run with the IC title for the sole purpose of giving a major push to whoever beat him. Regal would be perfect for the role.

But how badass would it be to see Regal easily wrestle the fuck out of Umaga, which is what would happen if they'd just let Regal go. I doubt they'd let that happen, the marks would be too confused that a man can beat a bigger man without interference in a wrestling match, but God, seeing that would be terrific.

I would also like to point out that Eugene would never have gotten over without Regal.

I think Regal's match this week on RAW was fucking pointless. I enjoyed the seg with him and coach, and at one point thought even he might team up with Lashley, then I realised, who is gonna get the MEGA pop. and guessed Cena's opponent as soon as Coach said Sandman vs regal.

I've never understood why Regal hasn't gotten more serious pushes. He is entertaining, well liked, and can wrestle. I mean the only thing holding him back is he isn't uber buff.

On a side note, has there ever been a Regal v Finley match?

I think they went at iT on Smackdown a few times, and I'm sure they threw down in WCW.

Regal has time, and all the things in him (yeah, apart from him not having the 'roided maniac look" (which even gets Snitsky viginettes!) to become a great contender for major match / air time on WWE TV. I think I would have preffered to keep him on SD, but I'm glad he left cos I really could see soem stupid British über heel faction with Burchill in. Fuck, may as well chuck Katie Lea in too.

On that note, I hear Burchill may be coming back. This I am looking forward to.

During the attack of the Enzyme Levels last year, they had a solid PPV match that the fans shit on. Why is beyond me, maybe they were wanting to see a spot-fest, not a donny-brook.

Side note, they really SHOULD have played up the fact that Regal wasn't acting like he was scared of Sandman leading into the match. He was looking for him from the ring, so he wouldn't get blind-sided.

<font color=white>Sad fact is, in the WWE enviroment, a lot of Regal's matches are gonna suck. Regal vs. Carito/Marella/Jeff Hardy etc is something I don't really want to see in the ring over the IC title. Put him in as GM. It's been done but it works well. That or in a tag team.</font>
