They should have the King of the Ring PPV. Have like 3 Raw, 3 Smackdown, and 2 ECW guys in the tourney and the winner gets a title shot at Summerslam.

I've said it before, but now is the best time as any to pull off a World War III match. They have the three brands so it works perfectly.

Also, unless they do another KoTR, is Booker indefinitely stuck in the King gimmick? And if not, is he just going to drop the gimmick?

The KOTR would make WWE long term book, for more than one month. You're asking way too much of them to do that two times a year.

It's amazing that people have forgotten that despite having a black person claiming to be British royalty on the programming. (Not talking about you, just the general forgetfulness.)

I was referring to the idea of the KOTR getting a title shot...but yeah to me KOTR was when it was all in one night, not just the finals on the PPV.

Anyhow, COMPLETELY agree that KOTR should come back but also agree that it never will becuse of the longer-term booking involved as said above.

Been watching a few of the past year's KOTR PPVs recently and I do miss it.

I was watching some Bookdust footage earlier and I now miss Booker T more than ever.

Anyway, I really wish they would do KOTR in place of this garbage. The KOTR would probably be garbage too though so I guess it wouldn't make a difference. Lashley would win and face Cena for the title at Summerslam so not a damn thing would be different.

Goldust was also gold, if you will.

They never seemed to be able to make up their minds how many tournament matches to have on the PPV towards the end. In 1998, it started at the semi's, 1999 the quarters, 2000 I think was the quarters, 2001 was the semi's, and I think 2002 was semi's as well.

But here's a question: Which was the best King Of The Ring Tournament and which was the best King Of The Ring Pay-Per-View?

Personally, 1999 best tournament, 2001 best PPV (although special mention to 1998 for Kane and the Cell match)

They should have a KOTR tournament that starts immediately after the bash, where the last 3 matches take place at SummerSlam.
