WWE's plan at the moment is to have The Great Khali win the WWE World Championship at tonight's SmackDown tapings once Edge vacates it due to his pectoral tear injury. There will be a Battle Royal later in the show and the winner of the match will win the title. Furthermore, the match between Khali & Batista at the Great American Bash will now be a title match. |

Funny how everyone is saying Khali is the champ already when it is simply mentioned on ONE website (albeit a credible source) that it is the plan to make Khali champ. But it also says this plan is subject to change.
So, how does anything PWInsider reported make Khali the champ already? And how in the hell do they figure Kane isn't goign to be apart of this whole scenario somehow? Are we just supposed to forget he exists or something? This place needs some better news reporters or something, definately not the sensationalist psychics they have running this circus now. |

I don't watch smackdown so I am not bothered. Khali being drafted was a godsend for me. Shame about Edge though, a long run is what he needed to become cemented in the main event.
