Which movies have you slept on?

In theater, I fell asleep during The Scorpion King (during the climatic fight scene) Granted, I was pretty tired going in.

In theatre again, The Last Samurai. I should see this movie again though

Just saw Transformers, and I almost fell sleep. But once again, granted, I had a few beers in me

The first Pirates Of The Carribean
S.W.A.T

Blitz 07-20-2007 02:06 AM

That Highlander movie with Edge.

don't know if this counts or not (since it was a show I went to, not a movie, and I was about 10 or 11), but I went to see Jerry Clower one night and I heard one joke and fell asleep, woke up and it was over. Was fucking PISSED too, because he was one of my favorite comedians at the time, and I really wanted to see him. Too bad he's dead now.

Mission Impossible 1 - the only movie I have fallen asleep during

Jura 07-20-2007 10:43 AM

I came home from Blockbuster one evening and I was tired and fell asleep. I had awoken to find that I had slept on iRobot.

Stickman 07-20-2007 01:31 PM

I really can't remember. I've dosed off a few times in theatres. Movies nowadays apparently have to all be 2.5 hours. That's too long for me to sit there.

I too fell asleep during that flick and have attempted to watch it a few times since but have been unable to watch more than 30 minutes of it before I shut it off. I have no given up on ever sitting through it and I've sat through some pretty bad flicks.

I also fell asleep during Interview with the Vampire. I dunno why but that movie bored the shit out of me. I don't like Anne Rice so maybe that's it but I'm usually a fan of vampire movies.

DMI 07-20-2007 03:17 PM

mission impossible 3

Stickman 07-20-2007 03:19 PM

I didn't see it in theatres but I have yet to get through the Matrix. Mad boring. Flame away.

Shaggy 07-20-2007 07:21 PM

Ive never fallen asleep at the movies...but I did come close when watching Miami Vice.

diothoir 07-20-2007 08:00 PM

Never fell asleep, but was getting drowsy during 300.

Those talking scenes with the wife were fucking boring, -edit- and the slow motion thing after about the 16th time.

ClockShot 07-20-2007 09:42 PM

Haven't fallen asleep yet. Came pretty damn close on the second Harry Potter film. And I got dragged into that.

Me too, I have since tried to watch it and I either get bored or fall asleep - Tom Cruise probably had a sub conscious scientology file embedded in it and my brains defense is to shut down.

darkpower 07-21-2007 06:29 AM

Now that I think of it, when I was younger, I couldn't get through watching Fantasia without dozing off...not sure HOW. Everyone says it's one of the best movies around, but I kept getting outright BORED by it!

Impeccable 07-21-2007 07:45 AM

Never fallen asleep in a cinema (although a stranger fell asleep resting his head on my shoulder during the Da Vinci code).

Pretty much guarantee that if I am at home and we put a dvd on past 9pm, then I'll fall asleep at some point during the movie, regardless of whether I enjoy it or not.

CSL 07-21-2007 08:30 AM

Came close to falling asleep during the X Files movie but only 'cause I was mad tired and it was a late showing.

Charlie's Angels 2

XL 07-22-2007 03:51 PM

Oh man I could be here a while...

Red Dragon, Alien Vs Predator, Troy and a whole helluva lot more. I put this down to the fact that I had all of my lectures at uni in a film theature and so the cinmea reminded me of uni and thus...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Collatoral (twice!), Hulk, Casino Royale and a whole helluva lot more. I put this down to the stoopid times at which I watch films. Usually as I lay down to sleep.
