Looking for some Jazz/Funk stuff.
Like this type of stuff--
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IXG6bBTQzJc"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IXG6bBTQzJc" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> If anyone has any recommendations of similar sounds, let me know  |
Hmm, not exactly the same, but Karate is a nice heavily jazz-based indie group that you might like. Tend to have some nice drawn out jazz guitar solos and stuff in the bridges of their songs, and the overall structure and feel is usually quite jazzy. Super chill.

There's a particular song that is right on the tip of my tongue that sounds just like that clip. Pretty well known too. I'll let you know if I remember it.

Check out the Jazzmatazz collections. Not exactly what you're looking for, but this is my first chance to pimp them.

The Budos Band is the best new band that keeps funk alive.Herbie Hancock is always a good choice. What you posted is whats called "Smooth Jazz".Thats the type on music that if you herd one you've herd them all.So any Smooth Jazz music you find you'll be satisfied with.

Pretty messed up right now, so I can't make any recommendations other than what I'm listening to: A Twist of Marley. Basically Bob Marley songs jazzified.
