I am going to try and compile a list of the reasons we all have to feel ashamed to call ourselves fans...here's what I've got so far...

1) John Cena
2) Our legends go crazy and kill their wife and kids
3) Hulk Hogan
4) Paris Hilton has more class than Vince McMahon
5) The World Champion is most notable for having a bit part in an Adam Sandler film
6) A former World Champion was David Arquette
7) Our big great hope for a future heel is someone who poops in people's bags
8) Having to explain that you know it's fake
9) Dumb Tag Teams; Deuce & Domino, West Texas Rednecks, Highlanders, Cryme Time, etc.
10) A midget is Champion

Added on...

11) Indirectly being a fan contributes to Matt Boone continuing to feel like he has a purpose in life

Add some more and if I like them I'll add them to the official list...

That even after enough time to realize the product is shite, we still make ourselves believe it will get better?

I wasn't disagreeing with the other points; just adding another one. Sure, they're hot, but it's a waste of five to ten minutes on ECW if you ask me.

So you think you should be ashamed because no more than five (it's NEVER been ten) minutes are wasted on the WWE's c-level show? Damn, I'd hate to see you get ketchup on your pants or something.

Are you trying to defend it? No, that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that it's shameful to waste a segment on something that gets little to no crowd reaction beyond some pity applause from the fans in attendance.

No, I've stated myself that they're a waste of time on an hour program. However, the topic at hand in this particular thread was to give reasons to be ASHAMED of being a wrestling fan. The fact that three hot girls dance on the show for a few minutes is not very productive for the show, but it's HARDLY anything to be ashamed of, now is it?

UNLESS, one of them is you estranged sister. Then you would be ashamed of it.

TNA trying to fit 50 people onto a one hour, Don West not knowing anything about wrestling(but he can sure sell knives!), them trying to pass Christian as a credible champion, the way they screwed Konnan, thereby causing LAX to drop all the way to the bottom of TNAs tag division, them trying to pass Scott Steiner as a face.

It really feels like some people are missing the point here.
