Bobby Lashley catches the SmackDown! Flu

WWE.com is reporting that Bobby Lashley suffered a possible rotator cuff tear "due to the kick he took from Ken Kennedy" last night on Raw. He was actually already injured going into the match last night.

The story we have gotten from two sources is that Lashley has been feeling pain in his shoulder at least going into TV last night and that they shot the angle last night to allow him to get the shoulder looked at and taken care of. We don't know the severity of the injury at this time and will update you here on the site when we find out.

That would explain why his program with Carlito was dropped without explanation on last night's show.

From PWInsider.

IT'S THE SMACKDOWN CURSE!

Even when it happens on Raw and ECW.

So how many main eventers are left now?

Lol this get's so stupid it starts to become fun. I place a £10 bet on Umaga being the next one.

Gotta love that Kennedy can get a big win only to give somebody some time off.

What's going to happen if something happens to Cena? The entire fabric of super-human will be ripped apart at the seams.

What does this story have to do with Main Eventers?

They could have still made him lose so he should be happy.

I feel like this is a work.

It isn't a work, Lashley doesn't sell the way he sold that kick last night. It was real.

Xero 07-31-2007 02:17 PM

The injury didn't happen in the match, but that kick was awesome because Kennedy actually connected and he did so pretty damn hard.

Also I liked the finish of that match. I can't remember ever seeing a Spear being blocked with a knee. Probably have, but it was still pretty cool.
