CM Punk got a small taste of revenge on the last ECW on Sci Fi when he, along with Tommy Dreamer, defeated John Morrison & Elijah Burke. Though he doesn’t have gold just yet, the first step toward being ECW Champion may be underway. Is the clock ticking on Morrison's title reign?

Speaking of the time, John Morrison was introduced as the new face of Extreme. And to show his generosity, he announced he would give a title opportunity to anybody who could last fighting him for 15 minutes without being pinned. Will this challenge continue? Will Morrison meet his match?

Also on the last ECW on Sci Fi, Stevie Richards pulled out an upset victory against Kevin Thorn. Is there a new force to be reckoned with in the Land of the Extreme? Has Kevin Thorn lost a step?

I wonder if WWE is going for an Extreme Elimination Chamber match for the ECW title at SS.

CM Punk is really the only even half way decent thing about ECW. And even there, they need to figure out how to give him some kind of third dimension, cause he's starting to stale really quickly.

Well we know some1 will win the TT match and then last the 15 mins of fame to receive a title shot.

They don't even really give him any time to grow as a character, he comes out and wrestles for 5 minutes and that's it.

It's a damn shame because it's obvious the fans are desperate to get behind him.

Yeah it might've been only two sentences, but it's better than the nothing he's been getting.

Punk is the only guy to really get a reaction from the crowd, too bad creative puts their hands to their ears when he comes out.

I wonder if the ECW thread will beat out RAWs thread again this week?

Exactly. Get him into a feud that's worth a damn. Let's see him be in a 3 on 1 situation and get beat down but put in a damn fine effort. Give him more time to talk. Switch brands if need be. SOMETHING, because he has all the magic "it" factors about him and the people are ready to accept him as a big time player, but WWE seems content to have him be the constant #2 guy on their third tear brand. :nono:
