Such a worthless story here...
Jeff was supposed to go over Hogan, Hogan throw up creative control issues, Bischoff backed Hogan, Russo backed Jarrett. Russo came up with an idea where they were going to have Jarrett lay down and Hogan briefly do a worked shoot. Instead Jeff laid down, Hogan did his part, and then Russo came out, did a legit shoot on Hogan, randomly made a Booker T/Jarrett World Title match for later on. Hogan walked out, Booker won his first title, and The Bisch wasn't heard from again until the dying weeks of WCW, and even there it was just a couple of on screne phone calls. |
Hogan wanted the title, Russo didn't want him to have it, Hogan had creative control. Russo sends out Jarrett to lie down for Hogan. Russo then trashes Hogan in a promo, calls the belt Hogan won the 'Hulk Hogan title' or something, says Jarrett is still WCW champion and announces Booker T vs. Jeff Jarrett for the main event. I believe it was Hogan's last WCW showing.
Or something like that. |
What about when Hogan came out at Halloween Havoc and just laid down for Sting. Then Sting went back later to the ring and gave a title shot to whoever wanted it in which Goldberg came out.

Russo pulled Hogans card and made him look stupid, I read somewhere Hogan was depressed for months, and was plagued with self doubt, only you think he may have realized all this sooner.
