Mikey 02-28-2004 10:01 PM

PapaGeorgio 02-28-2004 10:34 PM

Well I wouldn't want to wait for seasons, but if it was all one huge box set that would be expensive as hell and huge as hell. You got 180 eps. and figure you can get say 6 eps on a disc, that would be 30 discs. That would make the total between 300-350. Either way I would get it. More likely for them to do it by seasons though.

Seinfeld is the greatest show of all time. I'll be one of those nerdy guys buying that shit the day it comes out

el fregadero 02-29-2004 02:00 AM

I guess I'll be pretty nerdy then.

Two Seinfeld DVD Sets On 11/23
There's nothing wrong with that.

August 06, 2004 - No zoup for you this Thanksgiving! Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment has announced the first two volumes of the hit series Seinfeld, the first containing seasons one and two and the second volume containing season three, for release on November 23 for $49.95.

There will also be a deluxe holiday Gift Set which includes a limited edition script with handwritten notes from Larry David, exclusive "Monk's Diner" salt & pepper shakers and collectible playing cards for $119.95.

Seinfeld: Volume 1 includes all 18 episodes from seasons one and two, including the pilot, on four discs. Seinfeld: Volume 2 includes all 22 episodes from season three, also on four discs. All of the episodes will be at the original lengths, which is around one to two minutes longer than the syndicated versions.

Each volume will come with approximately 12 hours of special features, including a full- length documentary, extensive creator, cast and production commentaries, bloopers, deleted scenes, exclusive never-before-seen Jerry Seinfeld stand-up comedy footage and trivia pertinent to each season.

Each Volume contains the following extra features, tailored to the episodes included in the particular set. They include:

Inside Looks: Interviews with the cast and creators about what was happening behind the scenes as the episodes were created and filmed.
Yada Yada Yada: Audio commentaries from the cast remembering the making of these episodes.
In the Vault: Saved from the cutting room floor... deleted scenes - never seen!
Not That There's Anything Wrong With That: Never-before-seen-outtakes and bloopers.
Master of His Domain: See Jerry in exclusive stand-up comedy footage, shot for the show but never used.
Sponsored by Vandelay Industries: Original NBC promotional ads and trailers.
Notes About Nothing: Behind-the-scenes scoop and production notes.

Additional features include:

Volume 1
How It Began: An hour-long look at how Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David first came up with the idea for the show, how it almost didn't get made and how they emerged with the show that changed the face of television forever.

Tonight Show Footage

Volume 2
Kramer vs. Kramer: Kenny to Cosmo: If you thought Cosmo Kramer was hilarious, wait until you meet the real Kramer…Kenny Kramer!

No box cover art yet.

Thats real hot... I'm not thrilled about $50 a season but I'm sure I'll buy them anyways

Tornado 08-08-2004 12:25 PM

Seinfeld doesn't suck, but IMO it is horribly overrated.
