I love listening to Skip Bayless just to hear what crazy and off the wall thing he has to say next. He has said many contervsial statements including.



1.Claiming that Troy Aikman is gay
2. Huge critic of Lebron James for lack of shooting and not being clutch
3. Critic of Tiger saying he cannot win a major trailing entering the final day
4. Claiming that the NBA REGULAR season is more exciting than March Madness
5. hilarous nicknames of atheltes (Lebrick James, Prince James, Me Myself and Iverson, Kevin GarNOT
6. That the NFL should get rid of FG's and PATs
7. As RP stated in an earlier post he almost cried and whined when he didnt get to speak on First Take after Steven A. Smith used up all the time
8. Says that Curtis Martin is not a HOF
9. (until they won the Superbowl) He claimed that Peyton Manning was todays version of Dan Marino
10. Said LT is the most boring star out there. He claimed he would watch Tim Duncan anyday over LT. He also said anyone could have broken LTs TD record considering most of his TDs are from 1-2 yards out. He also claimed STEVE NASH could have gotten those TDs from 1-2 yards out with the nice OL the Chargers have
11. Says the NBA is by far the best sport out there
12. Says Junior Seau is not a HOF
13. Said Tony Gwynn always loved celebrating............ at the buffet
14. If you switch teams with Duncan and Garnett the T-Wolves would win a championship.
15. Said that Texas NC win over USC in CFB would have only been their one win if they played 100 times

The crazy part is its always been a rumor that ESPN fired NBA anylist David Alridge for his off the wall statement in 2002 saying that the Suns would regret taking Amare Stoudamire over Jared Jefferies

It used to piss me off watching him, but I am convinced he knows everything he says is bullshit and he says it to get people to notice him.

Yeah I kinda argee with that.

Also I never knew about this Troy Aikman incident.

Supposely even Barry Switzer said Troy Aikman was gay.

He thrives on being the devil's advocate type so he'll try to disagree with everything and on the off chance he's actually right people think he's intelligent. Whatever, it's not his fault ESPN keeps him on the air so more power to him.

I think Skip loves Nash just as much as he does Duncan.

Paige says stupid shit but in such a lovable way that you just cant help but love the guy. Plus sometimes he actually makes good points. Bayless just plain says stupid shit to keep himself contreversial and on TV. Theres nothing lovable about him either. He's a pretty cold individual and he makes you wanna sock him in the face.

I remember watching Woodys last Cold Pizza and he was in tears talking about his sister having cancer and how we need to stop it and that was the only time I remember Skip being very nice and respectful.
