Andrew "The Punisher" Martin
 

I caught the end of TNA the other night and saw Martin's debut. It wasn't the best debut in the world because the match before hand was horrible. The match was AJ and Christian vs Sting and Abyss in a ladder match, really bad match and Sting looked awful. None the less The Punisher runs in a looks like at toal bad ass and helped the faces win. I really hope they push him well, he looks marketable as fuck.

Yeah, I still maintain that this is a good signing for TNA. Andrew Martin was actually something in the WWE, and was never used as properly as he should have been. In TNA, he might finally get the chance to reach that pillar he was capable of.

And no, this is not me going "zOMG!1 Test can fly in TNA! wwe never let him!1" I'm merely pointing out that the WWE did a shit job with a talented guy in Test. TNA might be able to "Christian Cage" him, and turn him into something worthwhile.

I get the feeling that the main event of TNA's No Surrender PPV next month will be Kurt Angle vs. Andrew Martin for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Angle is apparently quite eager to work with Martin, and it should be quite the fun match. Martin won't win the TNA World Title, but he would look good in there against Angle.

I don't think he will main event so fast but in time he could draw I think.

I miss that Test theme song when it was all like 'gedda you freak, gedda gedda you freak', or something along those lines. It was sweet.

He got hurt a lot though didn't he? Seems to me he did, that type of thing can be tough toward getting guys long time pushes because they end up on the shelf for long periods of time. He's got the look, that's for sure.

He broke his neck and was out for over a year (during which time WWE fired him the first time.) He also had a couple of those infamous tears.

The Punisher? Really? Who the hell comes up with these names. Sure Test wasn't any better, but at least it was unique.

This is pretty much a form for a generic response to any TNA acquisition.

I thought his legal NAme was Andrew Test Martin, a change he made so he could use his name after he was fired. So if they dont use Test, it is because they want to try and somewhat sperate him from the WWE. Unless he sold his rights to his legal name!

I'm surprised that haven't called him 'Quiz' or 'Challenge', or 'The EXAMINER'.

Well, he's the Punisher now. When someone doesn't pass he Test6, he makes them sit in a corner.
