Bioshock demo is up
 

Visually this game is amazing. As for gameplay, you don't get to do any of the cool stuff like setting traps. Basicly just walking around shooting people. But the video afterwards shows all the really cool stuff you ca do with plasmids and weapons, and it looks fun as hell.

One particularly awesome spot in the video is when the player used the fire plasmid on a splier. In a panic, the splicer ran and jumped into a pool of water. The player then used the electric plasmid on the water, and fried the splicer.

Oh yeah, enemy A.I. looks incredible.

I'd love to comment, if it weren't taking me so damn long to download.

Started downloading it earlier but stopped when I put RS:V in and shot some bad guys :cool:

It's pretty short. If its really taking you that long, than it might not be worth the wait. As there is not much of the really cool gameplay elements in the playable part.

I let it download overnight but it was taking forever to download when I went to bed. It's pretty fun and the atmosphere is pretty incredible but it really is a basic demo. Not much to do.

The water effects are nice, as they should be if you base a game around it, but on par with other games out already and those coming out I'd give the graphics an 8 of 10. The sound is great and based on the demo I would give it a 9 of 10.

I'm disappointed by the lack of multiplayer but, just like Assassin's Creed, I think I will overlook it and buy the game purely for the single player. I expect high reviews for this game.

I don't normally play FPS, but I dowloaded this for a friend and tried it. It's pretty, but it's definitely not amazing graphically. I got broed after I got the Plasmid thingy, and switched it off shortly after.

IGN gave it 9.7 - it seems to be getting rave reviews across the board

Yeah, it's gotten 10's from a lot of smaller reviewers too. I don't believe it's worthy of a 10 but I would believe a high 9.

They had to release the game a week early because Toys R Us broke the street date. I think I might pick it up today.

Played the demo and thought it was ammense, when is it released in Europe?

Some people already got their hands on it. Their was a report that several Toys R Us's were selling them the day they received them not knowing that they were supposed to be held to a certain date.

The one I work at didnt do it though.....
