New GTA: Title And Release Date
 

"A few months back, a lot of sites were reporting on potential titles for the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. And now, Rockstar has finally come out and announced what it is.

The next title in the GTA series will be Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which presumably means it will be based in an area like Los Angeles and San Francisco areas. This won out over titles like Sin City, Tokyo and Bogota.

But that's not the only information that was given. They also announced a release date of October 19, 2004 in North America and October 22, 2004 in Europe. So fear not, GTA fans, you don't have to wait much longer."

yeah it was too good for us to have V-Rock on GTA: VC. I hope its not gonna be all about them in it as charcters and shit. erghhh

I bet there will be no vast improvement in this installment.

They will probably keep it pretty much the same until an actual sequel of the sorts.

It was so obvious :D , Liberty City, Vice City, San Andreas. :cool:

Don't care if it's a terrible game or not, I'm still going to get it. The won't make it any worse then what they had, if anything they will just improve and at the worst do nothing but new storyline, but even then it will be one of the greatest games ever. 3 and VC are up in my top 3 games so I'm sure this will pull it off for a triple threat.

i liked vice city and all but i hope to god its in modern times, with more badass sports cars.

I would really like for this to come out on Gamecube, but I know it's never going to happen. :'(

I don't think they will. GTA has always been mafia based.

Yeah, and I when I think of 50 Cent or Eminem, it's "TRL" that comes to mind, as opposed to "mafia".
