I read quite a while ago that this was supposed to come out for xbox live. What happened?

A Nintendo game coming out for a Microsoft system. Are you sure you didn't hear for the Wii?

It's not a Nintendo property, it belongs to Rare, who works exclusively with Microsoft now.

Yeah I know. I just would've thought Nintendo would've maintained some sort of copyright on it.

Nah, it's Nintendo who are exploring the possibility of adding it to the VC.

The fact it's a Rare game with a Bond license makes it a horribly complicated one though, so it's not especially likely. Probably more likely than it appearing on X-Box Live though.

It's not coming out on either, I think. Since RARE is MS, and Bond is EA.

I think I read that Microsoft or Rare wanted to release it for the 360 but they had multiple licensing issues, including issues with Nintendo.

It is possible for it to make it to appear on Nintendo's Virtual Console. Rare made Diddy Kong Racing for DS. It just didn't have the Rare owned characters like Banjo.

It could be nice on the Wii. N64 games look better on Wii than they did on the 64.

I wouldn't get it. I played multiplayer soooo much that I'm done with it. Plus, I have absolutely no one to play it with now.
