Batista is getting a title shot at Unforgiven! Thank God! I thought we we're gonna have to go one whole PPV there without him going for the gold.

We can either discuss this, or share our favorite Batista memories, and/or future Batista plans...

yep when he faced in Edge. Batista Bombed Mr Copeland outside the ring and instead of going in and out the ring to break the refs count, he gets counted out trying to put Edge back in the ring.

This is beginning to become a joke, true, but in a sick kind of way it kind of makes sense. Batista did defeat The Great Khali at Summerslam, his Championship Competition Match was inconclusive, and he got another win over Khali on SmackDown!.

A few of his shots are random and make no sense, but the WWE usually does have him earn the shot somehow, as repetitive and ridiculous as it is. Batista is more capable than Khali, so this might not be as horrible a change as people are predicting. I mean, Khali vs. Mysterio would have just been Rey getting headbutted 5,000 times. Batista might actually be able to add some depth.

I'm hoping Rey Rey goes over, and then Batista turns heel, frustrated by his losing streak. Come on, Rey Mysterio vs. heel Batista would not be bad at all.

It's tradition for Batista to be in a title match at a PPV, if he wasn't, then you wanna be scared, cuz maybe, just maybe, the writers suddenly became creative.

For the last time, I will explain why I like Batista...

He has a good entrance and brings a certain energy to the arena. THAT'S IT. But, sadly, in WWE's current state, having a good entrance is a solid 45 seconds to a minute of entertainment that most of the rest of the WWE roster is incapable of.

And as for liking Tista more than Berg, well, come on. Both are shitty as all get out in the ring, this is really just a case of lesser of two evils...

You must be a huge John Cena fan, then. Bats has been phoning it in in terms of energy since his injury, rarely looking like he's cranking up the juice.

With Goldberg, OTOH, I can't not agree. When you're dealing with two people who so totally suck ass, the least bad one wins.

...Unless it's an ass sucking competition.
