Bruce Lee or UFC ?
 

Do you think Bruce Lee coud beat the modern day fighters that we see in UFC?

I say yes because he was ahead of his time, but I say no because UFC fighters have become so rounded these days? I thnk yes because Bruce Lee was able to deliver almost magical hits but I say no because he lacked a ground game.

Lee was, among other things, a very versatile martial artist. I'd say that assuming he couldn't handle the ground game is selling him quite short, "magic" or no.

I think his legend, however, is so great that even he could not live up to it.

That is very true Mr. Night. He is a legend like Hendrix or James Dean and we see him as greater than he really was. Not that he was not great but he gets greater as the times passes on.

If Lee was able to compete I say he would win in his weight division but I do not think he could handle the bigger guys without losing

I know there is a trend of saying that Chuck Norris can do anything, but just for the record, didn't Bruce Lee train Chuck Norris, or at least help him break into the mainstream? I remember seeing Norris in a Bruce Lee movie, and I think I read somewhere that he helped to train Chuck Norris. If this was only brought up in a humorous sense, then it is actually kind of ironic, because I know that I saw them fight each other in one of his movies...

Yeah, Norris played the American champion hired to fight Bruce. As far as I know Bruce did teach Norris some things and it was probably reciprocal.

Honestly Bruce Lee is so fucking fast he could beat anyone. Plus he was a mixed martial artist, Kung Fu, Jui Jitsui, and karate. Probably a shit ton more too.
