Freddy Vs Jason 2/ Evil Dead 4
 

I was cruising around Bloody-disgusting.net when i came across this bit of news....


According to Dark Horizons, "Jeff Katz has done a 20-page internal treatment for Freddy vs Jason 2. It brings back the "Ash" (Bruce Campbell) character from the EVIL DEAD franchise. New Line is negotiating with CAA/Raimi to see if they can get him into this movie, with the then intent to do EVIL DEAD 4. Shannon & Swift won't be doing this."

Yes finally another Evil Dead. I have been waiting for another Evil Dead and hopefully Ash will be back twice in both the FvsJ and ED4. :)

I've heard about that. The Freddy Vs Jason w/ Ash could be great, but it has a high probability for being ****ed up. Mainly, it couldn't really be a slasher flick, but would actually have to be a horror/suspense/comedy, like the evil dead movies.

Does that mean that Freddy and Jason will be teaming up against Ash? Or would that mean that Ash would basically be playing the Lori role from the first one (Ash trying to kill Freddy (or Jason) while Freddy and Jason are fighting)? This could be interesting :D

Words cannot describe how little this would make sense. I'm a huge fan of all 3 series, the combination of Freddy and Jason was logical adding in Ash is not. I really would rather they just go straight to ED4, especailly if Sam Raimi is not the director of the film. No one should direct Bruce as Ash other than Sam, ever.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe Freddy and Jason are chasing after some teen and that the only way she can save herself is that if she hires someone to save here aka here we have the entrance of Ash.

Freddy and Jason hear of Ash who has killed Demons in the past and decided to put him down for good. So they go after him to try to kill him

Yea no matter which was this movie can go. I think it will probably be a comedy like movie. Sorta like Army of Darkness.

It could easily be made to make sense.

I'd MUCH rather Myers be the third man. But if it's gonna be Ash, then theres nothing I can do. I welcome it.
