The Brave Little Toaster

This thread has mainly been created because every time I see the thread for "The Brave One" I think of The Brave Little Toaster.

Anyways, discuss the Awesomeness of The Brave Little Toaster.

That little toaster was so brave. :'(

PapaGeorgio 09-19-2007 12:14 AM

He was so brave, if only I could be that brave. I also wish I could toast english muffins by myself, but oh well.

OssMan 09-19-2007 12:30 AM

if it's still playing.

The vacuum cleaner was kind of a dick.

He was pretty brave. Not as brave as Fievel Mousekewitz but pretty brave.

Also, the scene where Toaster has a nightmare where he burns his toast and then all the evil clown firemen show up and are like "run" is the scariest movie scene ever. It gave me nightmares.

The one minute the Air Condtioner had was awesome.

Requiem 09-22-2007 01:01 AM

Classic movie. The junk yard scene was pretty much my favorite in the whole movie.

darkpower 09-22-2007 01:11 AM

Oh God! When I clicked on the video that Kalyx posted to go to the YouTube page, and then looked at the "Related" videos, I found out that someone made, and posted, THIS:

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NyIxcAqY84E"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NyIxcAqY84E" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Take this for what it's worth. I'm guilty of chuckling a bit at some of it, but :wtf: .

Oh man, we're talking about a piece of my childhood here! If I ever have kids they are so watching this until I get sick of it!

Inadequacy 09-22-2007 02:42 PM

Mad props to that movie, I don't remember much, but I remember I love it.
Wasn't there a sequel where they went to space or something?

Lock Jaw 09-22-2007 02:56 PM

There were two sequels, I haven't seen either of them and refuse to do so. Probably because watching Land Before Time sequels scarred me for life (the first one was great though).

Inadequacy 09-22-2007 03:11 PM

Yeah, those Land Before Time Sequels were pretty assy.
On a related note, the scene where Little Foot's mom dies always freaked the hell out of me.

Requiem 09-22-2007 03:24 PM

The first -few- Land Before Time were pretty good. They didn't stray too much from the actual stories. Now though, they've dumbed them down even more, which I didn't think was possible considering it was a kid's movie anyways.

The brave little toaster> Every so called "good" kids movie to come out 2d or 3d animation

Hanso Amore 09-27-2007 06:39 AM

I love this movie. The Bond shared by a boy and his......Toaster.....IS the basis for all my relationships to this day. I know that me and my childhood toaster still get together every Sunday and play squash so that we don't drift apart like they did in this movie.

Honestly though, between Brave Little Toaster, Baron Münchhausen, The Lords of the rings animated movies, The Hobbitt animated and Felix the cat, all on VHS, I had a pretty sweet fucking childhood.
