The Biggest Baddest Samoan!
So I'm watching TNA last night and Christian "God Amoung Men" Cage says he told Cornette to find him the biggest baddest Samoan to get him ready for his match against Samo Joe. So who do they bring out? Rikishi...oh sorry Jr. Fatu. But seriously, Rikishis is the best they could do when trying to find the "biggest baddest" Samoan? For my money, if you are looking for a big bad ass Samoan, it is going to be Umaga. But he is a little unavalible for TNA. The next most bad ass Somoan would probably be Joe, so they can't really go with that. So what about idk, Rosie? Rosie I can buy as a badass, he is avalible, I believe. Then there is the old standard, Haku. Everyone think's Haku's old broken ass is a dangerous badass island boy (never mind he is not Samoan, no one cares). But 'Kishi will never be a bad ass.

I just find it lame that Christian was booked against Rikishi only because he and Joe are both Samoan.

It is even harder to buy Fatu as a bad ass because he uses the exact same move set from his later years in WWE. Now if he came in with that piledriver he used in the beginning of his WWF career, and didn't give the stink face, I might buy it a litte more. That and if his belt thing didn't say Bootylious.

Bringing in Rikishi as the "biggest, baddest (though I thought he said "biggest, fattest" at the time) Samoan is equivalent to when, in WWE, someone says "tonight you will face a former champion" and it turns out to be Funaki.

TNA mark: Rikishi in teh WWE was held back. Now we can really see Rikishi let loose in TnA.

I think part of the reason Rikishi didn't get over as a "bad man" was that it's hard to take a fat guy with jiggling breasts in a diaper as a credible threat. When he stood backstage in his sunglasses and Fubu he had a tough look and whatnot, but then he comes out to the ring and there's his ass. Come on.

I think the other part of the reason he didn't get over was he sucked and dancing the same dance with Too Cool has a self life of 3 months.

Two Samoans that really impress me are Samoa Joe and Umaga. They're both like bumble bee's. Fat creatures that can somehow manage to move around quickly and fly (by fly of course I mean off top rope).
