Perry Saturn

is he coming back anytime soon? why did he leave? the last I remember of him he was hot for a mop.

Mikey 03-02-2004 08:26 PM

Probably not. He was released a few years ago by the WWE. He wasn't used properly by the WWE IMO

Mr. JL 03-02-2004 08:48 PM

Yeah, my bet is he's never coming back to the WWE. I remember he got injured and was put on the shelf for some time. Then, when he was all healed up, the WWE gave him his release.

I always liked Saturn but I never really thought he fit well into the WWE style. He's got quite alot of tatoo's now too. I think he's now got a few tats on his cranium.

Rob 03-02-2004 08:56 PM

He got a bad rep for being a bully and wasn't well liked but never say never. I'd doubt it though.

Iceman90 03-02-2004 11:43 PM

He is currently doing some indy, and I think Japan work.

I don't see Saturn returning to WWE, but when NWA TNA takes off, I think he might sign long term with them.

I have always liked Saturn, but both WCW and WWE misused him.

ColdwaVer 03-04-2004 07:37 PM

*Shrug* meh, the guy always seemed like a poor man's Rick Steiner to me.

Rob 03-04-2004 07:53 PM

He doesn't have the charisma or ring work to cut it at any higher level than he has been at.

SukkaChump 03-18-2004 12:52 AM

didnt he like kick the shit out some guy in the ring in an australian tour awhile back?

Watson 03-18-2004 01:24 AM

Yeah some guy accidentally messed up an armdrag so Saturn starting shooting and beat the Hell out of the poor guy. I'm quite sure that had something to do with his release.

Dave Youell 03-18-2004 07:25 AM

He beat up a few youngsters i saw him on Metal (rememebr metal?) and he just ****ed up this kid for 10 minutes

JJ Moore 03-18-2004 08:53 AM

John la Rock 03-18-2004 11:55 AM

samichna 03-18-2004 12:09 PM

His lazy eyes creeped me out

Aussie Skier 03-18-2004 09:46 PM

i would love to see Perry Saturn back in the WWE, as long as he is still as good as he was.

He had a really unique style of being really well built, yet a very good technical wrestler. I always enjoyed his matches, esspecailly when part of the radicals

Not enough charisma? I distinctly remember him doing this dramatic scene shortly before the end of his WWE career when he lost his true love that sent chills down my spine. He said "MOPPPPIIIIEEEEEE!!!!!!!" as his mop got shredded. Tell me that isn't charisma.

:nono: Perry Saturn is NOT a very good technical wrestler. If you watch his matches more closely, you'll notice how he can barely string two decent technical moves together. Being able to bump or doing a fisherman's suplex doesn't make him a good technical wrestler

Fabien Barthez 03-25-2004 01:58 PM

and whats the difference between him and someone like angle or benoit who only strings 3 moves together at once when its a triple german suplex? how taz sits at ringside and talks about how good at suplexes they are when they only ever do 2, german and belly 2 belly is mental, taz was the suplex king and they both suck.

The difference is Benoit and Angle can do a heck of a lot more than just suplex. Saturn cannot perform any basic manoevours e.g. getting into and out of holds, therefore to class him as a great technical wrestler is wrong.

Rob 03-25-2004 02:33 PM

Ask Mike Bell and Vito DeNucci if Saturn is a good worker.

SeanMC 04-09-2004 08:06 AM

only thing i remember about saturn is that thing on metal(as mentioned above) and hie f-ucked up in a match once at armageddon 2000 i think it was, it was quite funny really, but i never liked him, seems like a dickhead to me
