DVD Players

Everyone needs a DVD player to watch movies...

Well I am on my way trying to find my 4th DVD player and the last 2 have been pure crap. My first one lasted for about 2+ years. But both of my other ones I have purchased I have had to return because they skip with nothing wrong with the disc. I just purchase a DVD and put it in. Not a scratch or fingerprint on it and yet the DVD player skips through half the scenes because it cant play it.

What DVD players do yall have?

Im tired of purchasing crap ones that dont work at all. And im also tired of using my PS2.

My dad bought 2 of the big black Apex dvd players several years ago and they have played almost every disc I've thrown at them. I don't have it here right now so I can't tell you the model number.

I have a cheap Phillips one, that plays .Avi's and such, I think I got it on sale at WalMart for like 50 bucks. Works great.

I think that might be the one I returned the other day. I know the one I returned was Phillips and got it on sale for $40.

Was it thin and silver, and on the box it says "Plays it all"

The player might, but the VHS's do not.

Stickman 09-26-2007 03:21 PM

At least they don't skip.

They can tear though. And get wound around the innards and you'd have fun with hundreds of feet of black shit.
