Randy Orton versus Mick Foley @ Backlash '04 = 8.8

A very strong rating for this match, as many felt it MADE Orton and only a few months later Triple H would UN-MAKE him. Nevertheless, a very great match-up that saw Randy Orton successfully defend his Intercontinental title in a Foley's Specialty Match that earned a high rating of 8.8 that jumps this match into fourth place.

The next match is from the WCW days and was for Eddie Guerrero's WCW Cruiserweight Championship versus the Mask of Rey Mysterio, Jr. Just a phenomenal cruiserweight match-up that saw some intriguing and unbelievable spots. Plus, the build-up surrounding the match and the Mask stipulation really helped these two put together a match that the fans would really care about and be able to get into.

This was probably the best lucha-libre match I've ever seen. Great storytelling (the mask-ripping sequences are classic) and some amazing spots. Loved it.

9.7. While its one of WCWs all time greatest matches the sad part is it might barely crack the top 5 matches of 97 as you had incredible matches that yr like HBK/Taker HIAC, Stampede 5 on 5 tag, Bret/Austin WM 13, and the great Bulldog/Owen European title final on RAW.

Man, I absolutely loved the Owen/Bulldog match.

Flawless match of it's style, every spot is crisps and it's not spots for the sake of spots.

The Leapfrog over the top rope turned into a Huricanranna, was fucking SICK
