So, is anyone else seriously thinking about getting all THREE new systems?
 

Like, having the Wii, 360, AND the PS3?

Reason I ask is that I already got the Wii (for Prime 3, was thinking of getting Twilight Princess), and I was thinking of saying what the hell and buying a 360 before the year is up (not alot of RPGs on that one, though, besides FFXI, a damn shame). This coupled with me really wanting to get a PS3 with the tax return I'm going to be getting next year (I file EARLY, don't ask why or how I wait that long or why I would want to get that with such a thing), and I would spend near $1,000 on game systems.

Is this excessive to want to get all three, or would this be something that someone who ISN'T obsessed would actually do?

If I had the money, and was still interested in console games, i'd get all 3.

I've got them, but the PS3 was free through one of those refferal things. It's an alright blu-ray player but I own no games. That will change next friday because I'll buy PES 2008 for it. Still the only game that I would use the PS pad for....

Barely have enough time for 1. You got to have a lot of free time on your hands to deal with 3.

I wouldn't bother with a PS3, most of the playstation games are going to be multi platform so i wouldn't see the point

I stuck with Sony. Have no desire for a Wii, and there are very few things I want on 360 (Dead Rising being the only thing really)

I had all three, got rid of the ps3 a while back as it was doing nothing but gather dust. I don't play the wii as much, pretty much 360 and pc gaming for me these days.

To have the full console experience this generation you really only need a Wii and one of the others.

Really, there are no really stellar exclusives on the PS3 right now. If you can forgo some of their bigger blockbusters (FFXIII and MGS4, which are likely to land on the 360 in a year or so ANYWAY) and don't need a Blu-Ray player, I'd go 360. The 360, as of this time, gets the superior third party games.

No need for a PS3.

If I purchase a BluRay player, it will be one of better quality.

i want a ps3 for Final Fantasy 13 and that is it, but i reckon that it will go to 360 anyway, so i will not buy a ps3 but if someone got one for me i would prob keep it.

Bros have a Wii. Will def buy a 360 by this time next year. Can't really be bothered with a PS3. It'd have to be mad cheap or something.

I've been putting some miles on my 360. But I just sent that out for repair for the second time on tuesday.

Love my Wii. But nothing has jumped out lately and says "Play me" besides Metroid 3. Wintertime will be great however.

PS3 is good. Lair is a pretty fun game to hold you over for a while. The blu-ray player hasn't failed me yet. Only major downer lately is that home got pushed back a few months.

I only have a Wii right now. I really like it, but I don't play it that often. I want a 360 because I want to play games like Gears of War and Halo 3 because the Wii will never have any games like those. I'm hoping once I can get around to saving for one, there will be less hardware failure.

Fuck the PS3. Are there ANY games for it?

I haven't bought or played anything in a long time, tbh, but agree with most everyone saying 360/Wii is the way to go, PS3 doesn't have much to offer.
