What would you like to see at the main event of Cyber Sunday?
As the title said which match would you like to see main event Cyber Sunday?
|
Well, obviously it needs to be the-

We've been seeing this for weeks but this is the first time it's ever interrupted a thread! |
Great.

 I love when they act surprised and its obvious that they saw it coming
|
I'd vote for the poll, but you left out "Chris Jericho vs Common Sense."
|
I dunno; Chris Jericho facing off against an 18th Century pamphlet by Thomas Paine about the wrongs of the British monarchy might be just the thing WWE needs these days.
|
It couldn't HURT, mind.
|
But I mean, if it was Jericho how would he debut at the main event?
|
Fan choice.
|
But like would someone "get injured" and then something? I am seriously confused about how he'll debut.

One thing they could do, is put up a poll with a question of who should face a msytery opponent, or something. Jericho could be a "glitch." I don't know. I think I could come up with more, but to be honest, I don't entirely buy it, and I'm not going to waste my time on this shit. It's masturbation. And unlike Alienoid and WWF Fan and so on, I prefer not to masturbate over booking. |
The Main Event is Orton VS Michaels.
You don't honestly expect Hardy or Kennedy to "Win" the votes do you? |
Did you read the poll, Rammstein?
|
I'd honestly piss myself with excitement if it shows up with the rankings in the polls, and Jeff Hardy gets 28%, Shawn Michaels gets 34%, and Mr. Kennedy gets 38%, and then Chris Jericho appears as a larger, fourth option over the top, with "203%" of the fans vote, and he beats Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. Jericho can then feud with Kennedy over the WWE Championship, with Kennedy complaining that he was screwed out of his shot by Jericho's shenanigans.
But honestly, I think the World Heavyweight Championship match should headline. Well, the WWE Championship match, booked correctly, could be a great closer, but from a completely kayfabe point of view, if I were running the show, I'd put the WHT match on last, because you know the competitors. It's Batista vs. The Undertaker, and that much is locked in. It does feel like more of a supporting match, though. |
On a semi-related not, it's not a good sign for the WWE when I'd prefer the Special Guest Referee in the World Heavyweight Title match to take out both guys, and then cover one of them, count the pin, and proclaim themselves the new World Heavyweight Champion. I don't even care that Stone Cold Steve Austin can never wrestle another (medically advisable) match. I want to see him as World Heavyweight Champion over Batista and The Undertaker.
|
Stone Cold to Smackdown in some way shape or form would help that show immensely
|
It's so obvious that HBK is gonna face Orton regardless of the vote totals. Theres no way they're having him come back and building their fued and gonna have him publically humiliated by losing the poll. He probably would win anyways, but something tells me (judging by pops) that Jeff Hardy and Kennedy have decent shots at legitimately winning the poll (which will never see the light of day).
Kinda weird to me that they knowingly are leaving Kennedy and Hardy off the card |
If Kennedy and Hardy lose the poll, I could definitely see them fighting each other for the IC title in the middle of the PPV.
|
do the polls close at the beginning of the PPV? I thought they kept them up and reported on them through the night up until before the ME?
This is of course assuming the polls are even real |
I'd love to see WWE.com get "hacked" and all the votes go to an unknown fourth option that winds up being Jericho
|
OMGZZZZ JERICHO DID HACK THE SITE!!!@11!!!!! EVERY TWO OR 2 ON WWE.COM TAKES YOU TO HIS RETURN VIDEO!!!!
|
It should be the World Title match, have Dave come out doing his dancin' and then before the match starts and he makes a total ass of himself the PPV feed goes dead. :y:

That was a sincere mark out moment

KK, you have a weird fucking memory. How is it you can keep track of all the thousands of posts you read on here every week? I can barely remember key things that half a dozen posters say around here, and you remember shit that jobbers mention in passing. It's amazing...

The only way to see the shitty match will be to buy the DVD, which might boost sales a little bit amongst the marks. |
By the way, this is how the World Heavyweight Title match needs to go:
Stone Cold Steve Austin wins the voting, and Mick Foley heads down to ringside to be a Special Guest Commentator for the match, alongside Michael Cole and JBL. Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his way out, followed by The Undertaker, and then the defending World Heavyweight Champion. The match between Batista and Undertaker is what you'd expect, and they work their way to the bit where both guys are sore, and looking to put the other man away. It is then that Santino Marella runs down to ringside and tries to attack Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Rattlesnake battles back, and chases Santino from ringside. His adrenaline running, he returns back to the ring, where The Undertaker and Batista have taken themselves out. He waits for them to get up, and neither guy is moving. He is obviously frustrated. Austin then decides to pick up The Undertaker, and give him a Stone Cold Stunner. He then does the same to Batista. Austin covers Batista, slaps the mat three times, rings the bell, and declares himself the new World Heavyweight Champion. Granted, Austin can't wrestle, but he's still more captivating than both Batista and The Undertaker combined. And besides, he's legendary to the point where he can just hold the title and it looks like it's worth more. He can show up on ECW, and boost their ratings a bit (which is what the WWE is after), and then on SmackDown!, Vince McMahon can show up and demand that Austin hands over the World Heavyweight Championship because he is not an active wrestler, but is rather under a WWE Films contract, and Austin comes out, gives Vince a Stunner and refuse to hand over the belt, but Vince can't book him in matches because he's not under contract. Have Austin see if he can wrestle one match, and have his first World Heavyweight Title defence treated like a big time fight. He could be on a team at Survivor Series, and hit a few Stunners on people, and not need to work the bulk of a wrestling match. Of course, Austin doesn't feel like wrestling, and his medical state makes it impossible for him to really get in there. I'd take a tenth of Austin's awesomeness over the entirety of Batista and The Undertaker, though. |
Noid, of all your dumb ideas, this one ranks somewhere in the middle.

It would really be consistent with the Austin vs. McMahon thing if Stone Cold ended up with the big gold belt, and McMahon couldn't do anything about it. He could strip Austin of the belt, but you could have Linda put her foot down and say that the WWE is not going to be behind that move, because Austin is a legendary Superstar, blah blah blah. It's the WWE; legal custody of a child was contested in a Ladder Match. The WWE wants ECW's ratings to increase, so having Austin become a SmackDown! Superstar would give him a way of appearing there (maybe have him either play mentor or rival to CM Punk). Also, it might allow the ECW Title to regain some credibility. With Vickie Guerrero unable to book Austin, she could logically ask Armando Estrada if she can share CM Punk as a World Champion. Some SmackDown! defences of the ECW belt would do it a fair bit of good. I'd even take JBL or Mick Foley as World Heavyweight Champion right now. Both guys are worn down, and semi-retired, but both could wrestle a few matches now and then. |
