Masters injured....

I know its not big news but Chris Masters is injured....

Anyone think that they will release him in the next month?

FourFifty 10-21-2007 10:16 PM

I was about to post the video of Dr. Cox's "Man Not Caring" but I was starting to enjoy his bit with Chuck on SmackDown....

The Naitch 10-21-2007 10:17 PM

he's done

FourFifty 10-21-2007 10:21 PM

I just hope they do something with Chuck instead of letting him just job to the stars... OMG! I'd love to see a Chuck vs O'Haire program!
I've been thinking this for years, but they NEED O'Haire!

How did Masters get injured continually putting Chuck Palumbo in the Masterlock?

Good. More room for real talent toward the top of the card.

It's never good to see anyone injured, especially if they don't monopolise the top of the card. Chris Masters is actually not horrible. I'm still convinced he has star potential. Jim Cornette knows more than any of you do, so I'm going to follow his opinion of the guy.

Masters needs to work with guys like Finlay and Dave Taylor, and really make sure he continues his learning. The WWE called him up way too early. I doubt they will realise him, because he's exactly what Vince loves, but this is certainly another set-back for him. The WWE isn't going to consider him reliable, so he won't get a Khali push anytime soon.

Also, I'd love to see Sean O'Haire return to SmackDown! as a guy who gets in the ear of both Vickie Guerrero and Theodore Long (when he returns), and fuels the feud between the two General Managers. Have O'Haire even be the wrestler who manipulates Vickie into giving him preferential treatment. Then have him interact with Chuck Palumbo.

Lots of guys in the wrestling industry know more than any of us do regarding professional wrestling, but that doesn't stop you from speaking out against others given shining endorsements by men with decades of experience in the business.

Except for Elijah Burke. He'd get lost along the way.

Actually, I rarely ever speak out about guys. You might have caught me recently being a little down on Snitsky, who has the support of Finlay and Arn Anderson, but that was more on the WWE's shitty character development of him, which comes down to the writers, who in a lot of cases, don't know more about the business than most of us.

Vince: WHERE ARE YOU!?

Burke: I don't know. It's kind of like the movie Tron. Except instead of lightcycles there are sign-up sheets for matches with Mark Henry and Val Venis.

Vince: I told you to take the LEFT at the Pedigree! Not the RIGHT! You're in Midcard Hell!

Burke: .....Huh... So THIS is where Funaki's been.
