MB's Official "MB Names Wrestling Era's" Thread
 

I got this idea from a previous post of mine in a thread regarding Cyber Sunday. I'm too intoxicated to explain this in great detail so just follow along. I'm going to come up with names for different time periods in wrestling...

Mid 2007 - Present
O.T.E. - "Orton Transitional Era"
The time period in which Randy Orton holds the belt until better stories and better options present themselves.

Early 2005 - Mid 2007
C-Rot - Cena's Reign of Terror
The time period in which John Cena ran wild on our televisions.

Early 2002 - Late 2004
To, U - Time of Uncertainty
The time period of many title changes and no clear top star. Though Triple H was a frequent figure.

Late 1997 - Late 2001
A.E. - Attitude Era
The good stuff.




That took me forever to type out, I'm making way to many spelling errors. So, discuss and come up with your own wrestling era's and discuss those too.

The Entertainment Era (2002-2007)
-Yea, I may be grouping it all together, but I honestly see no difference between anything that happen in 2002 till now. It's in the same period of time where 1992-1996 really sucked for wrestling. Of course stuff happened, but it all seems like a blurr to me. Nothing really captures my attention...not really makes me want to watch the show. Hell, last weeks Raw was the first show in a long time I enjoyed and felt for the most part made sense.

But seriously, can you chop it up anymore than that...it was all pretty much crap, nuff said.

2007-2008: Where have all the roids gone?
2008-???: Oh, there they are.
