So, let's assume tomorrow's Raw comes and goes and the SAVE US bit still isn't resolved.

Which I am assuming, because I think too much has been read into this.

But now that two of the "Definite" Jericho returns have been ruled out, and assuming the third "definite" return doesn't pan out, what will the dirty sheets and "smarks" come up with for the next return? Survivor Series?

Every PPV.

I hope they draw this out to WrestleMania and just be the return for Shane McMahon under a computer nerd gimmick. Just to piss the marks off.

LOL, I hope it's not Jericho, just so they can make the "were you expecting someone else?" quip.

In fact, I'd hope they'd do it in a big smarkish town, the reaction would be awesome, especially if it were a let down.

The funny thing is, the same retards who are bitching about how Jericho hasn't shown up yet will blow Edge for being "the man."

I so totally would pay to see it, just for the smark hypocrisy.

I would mark, but then again I haven't been blowing my load over the Jericho thing.

Plus I loved it when they pulled it with Bret Hart in 2005.

I just want to see the fans who have been screaming for Jericho drop trou after al the talk.

Until recently, I would have said that if Jericho didn't make his return by this weeks smackdown tapings that these promos were intended for a returning Edge. However, with Edge now having his own promos, who else could it be, really?

That Edge idea is pretty good, I'll admit. It'd be even better if after the whole Edge thing, while he's talking another countdown starts, and this time it's Jericho.

If they bring Sean O'Haire back, for whatever reason, I'd love to see them do it this way. Obviously your line was intended for comedic effect, but I'd love to see O'Haire in an unemployment line talking about how he told the fans of World Wrestling Entertainment things that management was not willing to hear, and now he's been forced out of his career...but he's not telling you anything we don't already know.

Just make him look really run-down by the system (and considering he's no longer the roided up guy he was, he will look the part), and then have him return to the WWE to prove that he is ready to fight the system that tried to crush him. Stick him with Chuck Palumbo, without making them a full-time tag team, and let The Natural Born Thrillers feud with Chris Masters & Kenny Dykstra, who would be managed by Victoria.

That would be good, but only if it led to Edge cutting a promo one night, and then the SaveUs crap playing again, and Edge asks what the fuck is going on, then another countdown starts, before a new "JERICHO" font blazes across the screen, and we get our real saviour.

"Edgeward...would you please...SHUT THE HELL UP!"

It would be so awesome if they stuck Elijah Burke with Chris Jericho. Have Jericho say they would have come sooner, but they got lost on the way to the arena. Bring up Johnny Jeter as another apprentice of Jericho's (because Jeter is very reminiscent of Jericho in his in-ring style), and stick Burke & Jeter together as an occasional tag team/credible mid-carders.

So we had Mick Foley last night, next week we have DX again and Stone Cold, and more hints to Jericho. It's sad that what they're counting on to save Raw's ratings is from circa ten years ago.

Also, the first thing I thought when I saw HHH's new shirt was 'Who shit on HHH's shirt?' Seriously, that was ugly.

I love how now it's "obvious" that it's going to be survivor series.

I both love and hate this.

Love the fact that Jericho will be coming back at some point, it’s maintaining my interest in watching the product in the hope that I can see it when it happens live, so the mark in me can be fulfilled

But then there’s the length of time, this is more to do with my impatience as I want the big blow off, so from me being a fan and part of the ADHD generation, holding my interest for long periods of time is risky. But that being said it’s good business, as I have mates who stayed up last night in the hope it was him, and I know people who haven’t watched wrestling in a while who are interested to see if/when he comes back.

For me I’m still going to keep watching it, some folks may be fed up with it all by now though as an angle like this hasn’t been done for a while and people’s attention spans are not as go…………………oh look a bird!

You still don't know it's Jericho, you know. I mean, you may think you do, you may insist it, but every other prediction about this has been consistently wrong, why would anyone believe this one is?

Because we've been talking about it for over a month, duh :roll:
