The "official" console RP if the Colts lose to the patriots thread.

I wanna see someone step up to the plate to knock down the Patriots but RP is way too confident.

If they lose... He'll probably slit his wrists followed by urinating into wound followed by sticking his arm into his rectum.

We got yoru back, RP. We got your back.

RP 10-29-2007 09:43 PM

Why shouldnt i be confident tho? We're the defending Superbowl champs. We're 7-0 and we've clearly beat tough competition this year. We play in the best division in football ( arguably ) and our defense is one of the best in the league, and oh btw, we still have Peyton Manning and Joe Addai and Harrison and Wayne and the best tight end in the league Dallas Clark. Oh btw we're at home and we havent lost a game at home since the Pittsburge game in the playoffs a few years ago.

Why shouldnt i be confident again?

I hope the Colts win. I have been a huge Peyton Manning fan since college and I adopted Indy as my 2nd team when he was drafted. That being said....

Washington and Dallas' defenses are both arguably better than Indy's and New England put up a combined 101 points against them. It doesn't matter how good your defense is. New England will put up a ton of points. So it comes down to a shootout and Brady has barely even made a mistake this season. Manning is much more capable of turning the ball over one time, leading to the Pats scoring that one more TD. New England's offense is also more explosive than Indy's and their D is much better.

I'm guessing 48-30 New England.

Be prepared.

Washington's D is better maybe. Dallas? No way.

NE is going to go 2 tight end sets and pound the ball and keep the colts off the feild in the first half at least.

RP 10-30-2007 12:05 AM

ACTUALLY

Both Indianapolis and New England are top 5 defensively both ppg and yards per game. Indianapolis gives up 14 pnts a game which is 2nd in the league. New England gives up 15.9 pnts a game which is 5th. The Colts give up only 272 total yards a game which is 4th in the league. The Patriots give up only 268 yards per game. 3rd best in the league.

Washington and Dallas are not in the top 5.

omg I knew this would happen :(

who caressssssssssssss

RP 10-30-2007 12:17 AM

I like when people who obviously dont care, have that brief moment on the internet where they all of a sudden care enough to come in a thread and reassure everyone else that they dont care.

Dallas' defense was terrible in week 1 against the Giants but since then, they've been great with the exception of the New England game (And even then, they did score a TD against them). They don't get any credit because they haven't played any good offenses so automatically it's "Well, they haven't played anyone." But they dominated the bad offenses just like good defenses do.

They even won a game where Romo turned the ball over 6 times and Buffalo scored 2 defensive TDs and a special teams TD.

Not saying they are better... I'm just saying it is debatable.

darkpower 10-30-2007 08:20 AM

Whoever said the Colts will lose?

Stickman 10-30-2007 03:29 PM

I would laugh if it ends up being 10-7.

mrslackalack 11-04-2007 12:55 AM

I am rooting for the Colts I gotta go with NE 30-21

Nervous Ferret 11-04-2007 01:04 AM

Either Pats win in a blowout or Colts win like 13-10 or something

Cooler Tom Schuler 11-05-2007 01:40 AM

:( Sorry, RP. I still think Indy will win the Superbowl, though.

SammyG 11-05-2007 01:42 AM

Maybe so.

Jeritron 11-06-2007 02:19 PM

Pats are better, they beat the Colts and terrible officiating. And they're on pace to cement themselves as the best football team of all time.

Pats should have beaten the Colts in the AFC championship last year and they sure as hell will this year.
