What happens when we run out of TV shows and movies to talk about?

You know, writers strike and all. I'm pretty upset. 24 may not air the new season til 2008 or 2009 for all we know. They sure as hell dont want to air just 8 episodes and then go on a hiatus. I mean, i'd be fucking tore up inside if that happend and i had to wait for Jack and Tony to come back and kick the shit out of some Arabs.

We'll just rename this the porn forum.

RP 11-07-2007 09:55 AM

Or the book forum

Splaya 11-07-2007 11:23 AM

Nah porn forum sounds good.

However, maybe that will be suspended too. Like only amateur porn would be good for the forum because the real porn is partially scripted :(

Also, I would be pissed too about 24. It's bad enough they have shot an alternate ending for Heroes and are considering it being the season finale in case if the writers strike goes on for too long.

Heroes, Lost, 24, and The Office have all been affected by this strike.

We can always talk about reruns, but it'll never be the same.

Just so you all know, the WGA going on strike is hard enough, but in June there is talks about the Directors going on strike...THAT'S when it's going to be a rough time.

Irronically, the very issue their striking over may prove to be the source of entertainment during this strike. Look for a LOT of non-union Webisodes to start popping up in the coming weeks. Find one that isn't God awful and enjoy I suppose...

Almost any show I care about, I got on DVD.

So really, no skin off my ass. I'll read more, write more, and listen to more music if I'm not watching the shows I like.

The Office is my fav show of all time.. Pretty shitty considering the actors who play Toby, Kelly, and Ryan are the main three writers..

:(

RP you're not going to like this at all, but I was reading online and Fox has officially postponed the 2008 premiere of 24. And get this...we may not see it until September of 2008

There's Youtube, Newgrounds, and the internet in general...who the hell needs television anymore. V_V

Also note there are alot of starving writers out there...I'm sure quite a few of them wouldn't mind being a scab to get a good paycheck

And then never work in this town again.

I hear on the radio that the networks would air TV shows they have in the vault or from Canada or that they wood produce more reality TV shows.

G 11-11-2007 02:10 PM
