Nothing new. Internets have been reporting he's been asking for his release since before Mania...

BigDaddyCool 11-08-2007 03:07 PM

Fine whatever. He is overrated crap.

BigDaddyCool 11-08-2007 03:08 PM

Oh, and TNA will probably pick him up. He'll cut an anti-WWE promo, get lost in the shuffle over there and do nothing just like he did in WWE only less people will see it.

Tommy Gunn 11-08-2007 03:32 PM

First Masters, then possibly Carlito? Sounds like a good week for trimming the fat if you ask me.

Stickman 11-08-2007 03:43 PM

He sucks anyways.

Mercury Bullet 11-08-2007 03:46 PM

Carlito will be main eventing in TNA within the next three months.

Stickman 11-08-2007 03:55 PM

And TNA"s ratings will.....stay the same.

Mercury Bullet 11-08-2007 04:00 PM

...if not get worse.

Mercury Bullet 11-08-2007 04:01 PM

They'll bring him in as a face, he'll mow down Christian Cage...then Kurt Angle...lastly, he'll have a face vs. face feud with Sting where Sting will cut promos putting Carlito over as the future of the business. There feud will culminate in Sting's retirement match where Carlito makes him submit to the Scorpion Death Lock.

Stickman 11-08-2007 04:09 PM

Or he'll bitch and whine about how the WWE sucks.

Kane Knight 11-08-2007 04:42 PM

Good Riddance. All Carlito did was say his name.

St. Jimmy 11-08-2007 04:48 PM

Your next TNA Champion: The Colon.

He's good enough when he's motivated. Which he hasn't been since like 2 weeks after his debut. If he found a reason to be, he could be better then most of TNA's roster. I won't be holding my breath, though.

Kane Knight 11-08-2007 05:15 PM

Carlito's "good enough" When phoning it in.

Problem is, he'll never be great as he is.

If I'm reading that right... then I agree. IF.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

If you know what I mean.

Kane Knight 11-08-2007 05:26 PM

Basically, I think he'd be greatness if he gave a shit. I don't know why he's not motivated for sure, but from the things that have been said about him in the past, I don't think hecan be properly motivated to ever be more than, you know, okay.

...Errr...I mean, yo ulost me. ;)

Theo Dious 11-08-2007 05:29 PM

Put it this way. I WANT to like Carlito. He just doesn't give me enough reason to.

Also, I find this amusing. Carlito has sold T-shirts and stuff, I don't recall seeing any Daivari merchandise.

Kane Knight 11-08-2007 05:36 PM

I'm a sucker for a catch phrase.

In fact, if someone could teach Santino how to say his name in a more interesting way, I'd shoot my load over him.

KingofOldSchool 11-08-2007 05:45 PM

I like Carlito, but he comes off as a cry baby because he's not getting the push he wants.

Yeah, its like he thinks hes owed something for some reason.

SammyG 11-08-2007 07:42 PM

He should demand his release. He was heavily involved in storylines, than ever since Santino came in, he has been lucky to be on the show. I'd be pissed too.

Lord-Of-Darkness 11-08-2007 08:17 PM

Tough shit I'm afraid. Its the same as any job your in because you love what you do, if you see someone in a place you think you should be, you don't just fucking give up and get lazy, because it makes things worse. You keep working hard and keep your damn job at the very least. Or do something about it. Don't just sit back and give this half assed crap Carlito churns out. If thats all he has to offer, then he doesn't really belong in a high profile company.

Shadow 11-09-2007 02:28 AM

Carlito reminds me of Jeff Hardy. He's really really over....if he wants to be. If not, he's lucky to get the charity pop.

Course...Carlito doesn't have the 5 years Jeff had when he got burnt out so really, he's got no excuse.

Fox 11-09-2007 02:41 AM

He should join LAX.

They will feud with each other on TNA too. And then get picked up by ROH. And then in Japan. In fact, they will feud with each other for eternity!!!

Rammsteinmad 11-09-2007 09:10 AM

What's with all the Carlito hatred on here? Carlito's awesome!

He's lazy and his attitude sucks.

That being said, I'd rather see Carlito than a lot of guys in WWE. Right now I'd prefer watching him to watching Orton, Batista, Kennedy, Youmanga, that Mexican midget that pisses BDC off, Khali, Mark Henry... lots of guys, to sum it up. But his lack of effort lowers him to merely watchable.

THAT, I think, is why people are so pissed at him. He could be turning shit to gold if he could be bothered to just try.

Kane Knight 11-09-2007 01:22 PM

Do people really care about lazy and attitude, except when it's convenient, though?

People were totally on the Carlito bandwagon for a long time when he was lazy and had a bad attitude.

BigDaddyCool 11-09-2007 01:25 PM

I like Umanga, he is better than Carlito cause he tries. But yeah, I hate that midget.

People weren't automatically turned off when he started getting lazy and having a bad attitude. People got turned off when it kept dragging on. God you are dumb sometimes. Not everything is black and white. He rode a wave of momentum and people kept hoping that he would try more when he move to Raw or whatever, but then nothing ever happened and they got sick of him. So that is where we are now.

Mercury Bullet 11-09-2007 01:41 PM

Never liked him. Totally honest. I didn't dislike him at certain points, but there were periods of indifference towards him.

Really don't care if he leaves though. I just don't want to see him come in to TNA and run over everybody because he's a "huge acquisition"...

Ignoring the fact that he's been like this since shortly after his debut, and it's apparently only now a problem, that makes perfect sense!

BigDaddyCool 11-09-2007 02:28 PM

Yeah, well I'm just saying I haven't cared for him for a while. I was pretty bored of him before Mainia. And also, I've been pretty bored with Kennedy for a while too. So when the same story is reported only replacing Kennedy for Carlito, I'm not merely jumping on the bandwagon. I'm like driving it or something.

Kane Knight 11-09-2007 05:15 PM

That's great, especially coming from someone who blows their load over lazy wrestlers with attitudes.

TerryBoulder 11-09-2007 06:26 PM

Carlito sucks, WWE should save their money and fire him.

Why do they keep a turd like Carlito around who DOESNT EVEN WANT TO WORK and fire a talent like Masters is BEYOND ME. :wtf:

Mr. Nerfect 11-10-2007 12:10 AM

First of all, I believe there would be some truth to Carlito's attitude problems, but it's not like the guy doesn't turn up for work and has bad matches. I personally think the guy has the right to be pissed off. Who the fuck knows if he believes he is owed something? Reports came up that Carlito was first unmotivated when he was playing a shitty bland babyface. He just preferred the heel role.

Oh, and he originally didn't want to be a wrestler, but his dad encouraged him. So it wasn't his first preference for a career? Mr. Kennedy is a trained actor, John Cena used to be a bodybuilder, as did Batista.

Personally, I think Carlito is underused, and the move to TNA will do him good, because he is exactly the kind of talent that they need. He's able to move around the ring well, with the lucha stuff, he's able to talk, and he's flirted with the main event scene before in the WWE (so a push in TNA won't look out of place).

Assuming Carlito did go to TNA, I think he would be a similar acquistion to Christian Cage. Carlito Colon was misused, underused and treated fairly badly at points during his WWE run, and they did the most they could do to squash his heat. In TNA, he would be able to bring out the qualities he wants, whilst not having a glass ceiling to battle.

As for whether or not he could get motivated in TNA? I personally think he would, just to try and stick it to the WWE. Motivation comes from different places, and who knows, maybe Carlito will push himself and become the next "Stone Cold Steve Austin," in the sense that he gets shit from one employer, and then jumps to others and proves he can do what he does well.

br0ken 11-10-2007 02:21 PM

He is OK. I don't see to much wrestling anymore (no Cena) plus I get busy with stuff, but that guy was entertaining when I see him. To bad there isn't ANOTHER wreslting promotion for him to go to be sides TNA.

Well this is obvious. Everyone is used properly in TNA.

Additionally, when you say thinks it makes my soul hurt.
