The Hell in the cell match..

Taker and Batista, them being not in the greatest shape, will they pull off a great match? I mean come on, nothings gonna top Mick Holey falling on tacks and an announce table. Thoughts?

Batista could dance in a cage. I'm excited.

OverTaker 11-08-2007 03:31 PM

to what song?

Could be good. They surprised me at Mania, and Taker's got HiaC experience so yeah.

It won't be the best Hell in a Cell match, but it won't be the worst

Innovator 11-08-2007 04:06 PM

Batista said this is his dream match, so he'll step up I think. Taker can pull a good match out of almost anyone, so it'll be good.

If you ignore the fact that you're putting two injury prone wrestler into a match which is famous for slightly dangerous spots.

Don't get me wrong, if either of them gets a career ending injury it'll probably be the greatest HIAC ever. I say they get what they deserve going into a match like this.

But still, there's a good chance of injury, so I'd hardly guarantee a good match.

I still say Orton vs. HBK would be so much better.

Yeah - it was topped by the previous hell in a cell with Michaels and Taker.

OverTaker 11-08-2007 07:37 PM

They were pretty damn close.

Surely I'm missing something.

OverTaker 11-08-2007 07:45 PM

It was stated that their performances havent been great since their injurys. They look great but thats not what I was getting at.

OverTaker 11-08-2007 07:47 PM

Sorry I through you off.

Did you not see their Cyber Sunday match? It was on par with their Mania match IMO.

Mister Sinister 11-09-2007 02:49 AM

like either one, is willing to take an big bump...Seriously, has there been one since Foley getting backdropped thru the Cell?

Dave Youell 11-09-2007 04:48 AM

I have high hopes for this match, they have really chemistry and it’s the closest thing to a Japanese match on TV right now, all the near falls from Cyber Sunday were good. They are going to have to raise the bar with this one, I don’t see any massive bumps in it. But Foley and HBK are the only ones to do it, and they both did it but being on the outside of the cage, going against what the design of the match is. They are meant to stay inside.

Rammsteinmad 11-09-2007 09:08 AM

Undertaker VS Brock Lesnar was an amazing Hell In A Cell, and that didn't have any big bumps.

But let's be honest here, Batista is no Brock Lesnar.

Either way it should be a good match. I doubt it'll steal the show, but it'll be good.

Kane Knight 11-09-2007 09:29 AM

Taker was also a couple years younger with fewer injuries to his name.

One of the positive things about wrestling, I suppose, is that up until a wrestler actually dies, we can live in our own little worlds of suspended disbelief. And I think it would take Undertaker's death for people to stop putting faith in him. But he and Bats are both injury prone, and getting moreso with time.
