Gotta tell ya, EGM has been pretty awesome magazine lately
Been buying this off and on for the past year or so, and I have to say they really have improved to the point where no other game mag can touch them.
They frequently print info and previews that not even the internet communiy has seen. That in itself is a testament to their journalistic ability. Also, they have 1 or 2 really good articles each mag, about a current issue facing the industry. Their reviews are the most unbiased(thanks in large to the 3-man system, which i love.) of all the gaming magazines. Also, seanbaby writes for them. |
Had a subscription for a few years now, and been reading since like issue 30 or something. Only game mag out there worth reading.

Been reading for most of the last 10 years and yes, they are pure awesome.

Yeah, it's awesome. Have had a subscription for 3+ years.
Honestly one of the only things that keeps me from canceling my GameInformer subscription is the fact that EGM doesn't cover PC games (they have another maginze covering them). But yeah, awesome magazine. |
I was just telling someone here how EGM is the shit. Reading it for about a decade now. In a world where videogame news come nearly instantly the fact that I stay loyal to a printed publication says alot.

Great magazine.
However, I can't wait till I read their review of Assassins' Creed. |
Both EGM and Gamepro have really stepped up. GP has improved some, too (even got rid of those personas their editors have had since FOREVER), and EGM has been kicking some ass for a while now.
The online sites have been making the print stuff somewhat obsolete, though. I think that's why many print mags are doing all of this retooling. |
lol gamepro is still trash, come on.
