God dammit part 2. (Have the system, controller will not sync.)
I went out and bought a play and charge set to plug it in directly, and the controller still won't get sync. It just keeps flashing it's little green ring, plugged in or not.
I can even turn the console on using the guide button (when it's connected to play and charge), but that's all it'll do. |
The Play and Charge kit doesn't actually connect it by wires, it just charges it.
|
Google tells me that it'll sync it too, which I tend to believe since the guide button will only turn on the console when connected to play and charge.
|
Just keep trying. Press them at the same time, different times, stagger, blahblhablha
|
try pressing the connect button on your console and controller

Plug and play is a pain in the ass and gave me problems. I went out and shelled out the cash for rechargeable batteries and a charge port.
By right, the process to sync up is press the button on the console first, followed by the button on the controller. If all else fails, hit xbox.com |

...no it's not.
|
Yes it is. Beats the hell out of the play and charge kit.
Wasn't saying that's your problem with the syncing. |
Well, eventually got the controller to sync...but the B button won't work.
|
The B button won't work, and one of the joysticks isn't calibrated properly.
I have a wired controller, though, so I'm over the major hump. |
