Why is it when I have headphones in it makes weird noises.
 
These are some quality $100 Sennheisers btw. It doesn't get louder or quieter with any volume changes, it's just always there. Kind of a static/squealing sound. Can't be iTunes or any other music player, because right now I am listening to nothing and it is still here.


Yep, just confirmed it isn't the headphones because it happens on everyone I plug in.

When I play music it's there, but obviously the music covers up 80% of it.

Ok after researching and messing around with the tower, it's apparently the front headphone jack and is also a common problem among Dell computers (you Dell haters can go fuck yourself, don't start your yapping).


So now I get to run a third audio plug out from the back!!!!
