What is your favourite Chris Jericho moment?
www.wwe.com have a poll at the moment asking this, and Jericho's second coming on Raw in 2007 leads ahead of Jericho's WWE debut and Jericho winning the Undisputed title.
So what is your favourite Jericho moment? Mine is a tie between Jericho "winning" the WWE title off HHH in April 2000 and last man standing match vs HHH at Fully Loaded 2000. |
That’s exactly the moment I thought off when I read this title. The pop for that ‘win’ was great.
|
on his debut when road dogg called him a bitch.that was pretty lol
|
Yeah the "win" against HHH is definately the best Jericho moment for me.
|
scratch that - HBK v Jericho at WM 19. One of the best WM matches ever and stole the show at 19. Brilliant.
|
Peeing in William Regal's tea. Best skit ever.

Of course, and I still didn't get to become a Mod! |
Maybe this isn't on anyone elses list, but my Jericho moment (or the first one to pop in my head) is Jericho defending the WCW Cruiserwieght Championship against Dean Malenko with Juvi's mask on, only for it to turn out to be Lenny Lane and Jericho comes running out to kick the crap out of Dean.
Also the WWE Championship match sticks in my head, but since he was stripped 10 minutes later, it lost some effect on me. V_V |
I’m remembering some more now, if we are talking all promotions:
RALPHUS!!!!! The Goldberg feud, all of it The 1004 holds That training session he did in a cage on Raw |

And it just his 222 views. :y: |
Also adding to the list...Jericho giving the "hand to the face" to The Rock. The Rock then moves out of the way, and Jericho just moves his hand right back into The Rocks face.

In honesty, I liked WCW Jericho better than I did WWF Jericho. :y:
|
I'm surprised no-one has mentioned him becoming the first undisputed champion. How many people have beaten the Rock and Steve Austin consecutively on the same night? For me it was completely unexpected too.
|
obviously not last weeks Jericho moment.
BTW he main evented WMX8 |
WrestleMania 18.

Probably the "it never happened" match. The undisputed win was technically grander, more official, and a bigger push...
But due to circumstances beyond his control, booking and other things it wasn't quite the same. The little dusty finish that is forgotten from State College PA is one of the biggest pops, and ultimate mark out moments in the history of wrestling for me. It happened to me damnit. That is to Jericho as WM14 is to Austin, WM 12 to HBK, or Raw in Worcester is to Foley. |
The WCW title win. The Stephanie involvement only stopped it from being one of the most underrated matches of all time.
|
My favorite Chris Jericho moment was in WCW in June of 98, a few days after a cruiser weight battle royal on pay-per-view in which Dean Malenko came out as a masked wrestler; won the battle royal, and defeated Jericho for the belt.
The moment I am referring to, was when Lion Heart went to Washington to "go over J.J Dillon's head", and prove their was a conspiracy against him, he tried going to the white house claiming that Clinton was a Jerichaholic, and would let him in, after being sent away, he went to the library of congress. They showed him setting in the floor, looking through several large law books. Frustrated, Jericho said "Where do I find WCW titles" LOL; It's on Youtube...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFHR94Hbv9g .....(CLASSIC WCW moment). It just occurred to me that, I have stolen two things from Jericho; my 2nd coming name on this site, and the name Americas role model (that's what Jericho calls himself in this skit) that I use on every other site |

Jericho's original debut was my 2nd favorite moment. I also greatly enjoyed the Chris Jericho/<s>Chris Benoit</s> association in the Spring of 2001 when they were both feuding with Steve Austin. |
Jericho vs. HBK at WrestleMania 19 was a dream come true. It was everything I had hoped that it would be, and it lived up to all of my expectations bar one: Jericho lost.
Jericho vs. The Rock for the WCW World Championship at No Mercy 2001 was also an incredible match. It really showed that Jericho was ready to go toe to toe with the biggest stars in the industry in a World Title picture. Unfortunately, they never really gave him that chance. |
Some great moments mentioned, but the one that made me a Jericho mark 4 LYFE was when he was imitating Goldberg's entrance and got lost on the way to the ring.

Simple fact is, people didn't give a shit in general, probably because there was only one winner and because I believe Jericho said in an interview for that On The Record programme that 'WWF were making the wrong decision about the title match' when asked about it a few days before. Didn't really help. |
Jericho first "winning" the title was such an awesome moment that is still hard to top.
But one of my favorite promos was almost a shoot type one. The last SD before Royal Rumble in '02 where everyone was telling Rock they were gonna face him for the title. Jericho got so pissed at all of that of how everyone was overlooking him. That was a wild segment. |
