So, I was hanging with all my friends last night watching Smackdown (like 8 of us or something) and everyone started to grimace when the whole Edge/Vickie thing happened. Everyone was complaining about the coupling, saying it was a stupid idea. So then I pipe in and say something along the lines of "Actually, I think it fits Edge's persona perfectly. He's so obsessed with getting the title back that he's willing to fuck that fat slobbering cow to get another shot at it.". Then everyone gets all quiet and stares at me. Finally somebody is like "Dude, that was Eddie's wife. Not cool." or something like that. I try to give WWE an actual compliment about a storyline and get yelled at for it.

So my question is this: Am I supposed to pretend that Vickie Guerrero is some extremely hot chick because her husband is dead? Do I also have to pretend that she's a good actress as well?

What's the deal here, is Vickie off-limits?

As long as Vickie is fine with it then I think it's fine. I agree, it's a good way to show how obsessed Edge is to get the title back. And the way Taker held Vickie hostage for ages waiting for Edge to come and save 'the love of his life.' The fact he didn't come and help solidified what a selfish, thoughtless pig Edge is. It was great booking. I'm sure Vickie would think Eddie is proud of her for carrying on in the business and doing something for it.

I wouldn't call her a "fuck that fat slobbering cow". She's pretty much average looking for a woman her age with a couple of kids. She's not hot by any means, but she's still more fuckable than Chyna or that Nicole Bass dude.

Anyway, as long as it plays out well, and she doesn't have a problem with it, I'm fine with the Angle. I don't really watch Smackdown, so it really has no effect on me. I guess it fits Edge's character.

It's a shame WWE barely allows regular looking girls to wrestle. Hopefully TNA can capitalize on this and at least have an entertaining womens' division..... but since it's TNA they'll fuck it up by February...... I mean December.
