How long will he go? (Raw Spoilers)
So how long do you think they will keep Ric Flair undefeated, and how frequently will he actually wrestle? Who do you think should end his career?
Seems like any show would work at this point, but I'd keep him to one show a week to not overdo it. As the streak goes on, any Flair match would be a sub-main-event, and give exposure to ECW and Smackdown. Flair, being the dirties player in the game, will have to start resorting to his do-or-die tactics, and the whole angle feels like the 92 Rumble, if that makes sense. I'd like to see some match where Vince interferes, but then Flair's opponent figures it out and pulls Flair over top of him, giving Flair the win and there's a new mini-feud with Vince. I think Orton or Edge will end it. |
He should have retired by now.
|
Well yeah, but until Hornswoggle gets in his time machine and makes that happen we're stuck with this.
|
It will go to WM and Randy Orton will probably end it to keep his legend killer thing going.
I agree with BDC. No one wants to see an old saggy orange man in the ring, it ridiculous. Although I do love his strut and always will. |
He bent over once last night and I swear to god I thought he just Sid Vicious'd his giant old man underwear.
|
I expect alot of people I like to job to an old man with greasy titties.
|
Sting.
|
Flair should be a manager or something. He is still gold on the mic, but he shouldn't be tying up with the regular boys.

I think It could be a quite enjoyable angle btw. I do like Flair, he's is just way too old to be taken seriously. Hopefully they won't overkill the angle....i mean it's a long time until WM
|
I think the real question is how much longer with the 'Swog last. This has gone from almost cool with Finlay back to super gay with the looney tunes crap.
|
I think it's going to Wrestlemania
|
I could see this as a great opportunity to get in some matches with Cody Rhodes or DH Smith.
|
It's going to Mania and I realistically see Kennedy being the one to defeat him.
|
If it's going to WM i really hope it's not gonna be an every week thing, else it's gonna get stale pretty fast....unless he's just taking out smackdown/ecw jobbers/new developmental talent....but if they put him over too many credible names it's gonna make everyone else look like crap.
|
I'd like to see Undertaker end him!
They had a decent match a few mania ago. And if they build Flair consistently, then they can bill the match as "Something's gotta give". Undefeated WM Record vs Career of a legend. Sure Terry Boulder will disagree. |
He told us last night. It will never end. :shifty:
Truthfully I was waiting/hoping for Arn and Windham to come out and help him beat Orton last night maybe even bring Tully back and reunite the horsemen since they're always there in the back anyway. |

ALL NIGHT LONG

Which is why the match at Mania will be a "Bowflex on a pole" match. Flair will win the match technically, but as you know, he never successfully gets to the top. |
Seriously though, I love Flair and still love seeing him in the ring over most of the roster. Despite being old and flabby.

The key to success for Raw is Ric Flair, Canadians and Luchadores. In that order. :shifty: |

Hilarious, yes. |
Till WM, and I gotta believe Vince'll beat him. Clean in the center of the ring, most likely.
|
I definitely think it's going to go up until WrestleMania, where he'll lose on the biggest stage of the year. It only seems fitting for a guy like Nature Boy Ric Flair to go out on a huge card like WM, something that will be historic and remembered by fans forever.
This, however, is a huge opportunity to bring someone up the main event level. Whoever beats him (trusting Flair stays away forever this time) will always be able to brag that they retired Ric Flair. I don't think it should be Edge or Randy Orton. Both of them are former World Champions, they've both broken through that glass ceiling already and are in the upper tier of the WWE. It would be a horrible waste to have Vince McMahon be the one to beat him, since neither man could be elevated from it and it would be a horrible way to end Ric's career. Plus, the match would likely suck. I wouldn't put it past Vince to do this, but I would be fully convinced that his mental health is completely unstable if he did. I think it should be someone deserving; someone who has the star-look and looks like they could be a main eventer for the next 5-6 years. In my mind, on RAW right now, there's only one man to do it. MR. KENNEDY.... ......KENNEDY! |
Honestly, I could see Flair getting by for a bit with cheatig wins and help, and i thinkhe will stillbe cheered. if he doesnt win clean it wont hurt anyone he wins. just have him defy odds ad squeak then out. all the way to the Rumble, where he is one ofthe last three and somehow wins and goes to WM to face someone like Orton, Flair loses, but retires on top be main eventing WM.

If there is a Christ in Heaven it will end on Monday
|
Jerry Lawler -vs- Ric Flair in a loser quits wrestling match.
Hopefully it ends in a double count-out, which is technically a draw, but McMahon can come out and say they both lose due to a new rule regarding count-outs. At least it would happen like that in a perfect world. |

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! |
Ric Flair Vs. Terry Funk, make it happen.
|
Yeah, it'll drag till Wrestlemania.
Then Undertaker will beat him, keeping his streak intact. :shifty: |
Till he's dead in this ring? :?:
It is what he said, and knowing Flair he'll die in the ring after Super Cena Mk II botches an FU off a scaffold or something. |
I can see this as an "uber-way to let Ric Flair bury the holy high hell out of anyone he fucking pleases" if the WWE fucks up with it.....which basically means that starting Monday, Ric will be burying the likes of Paul London and Brian Kendrick in a handicap no holds barred match, Jericho in a break the code match, Lashley in a "find another racist term for blacks to call me that is more offensive than nigger" (faggot), Triple H in a "give Steph a better facial than I can" match......................................................
Though I can see that one man could beat him: Hogan. God I hope the WWE never reads this post. |
