Favorite RECENT Flair match?
 

Many people have stated in the other Flair threads that Flair doesnt have what it takes in the ring anymore. All of his matches have become bland so to speak....

I was wondering when was the last time you were actually entertained by a Flair match?

For me it had to be Taboo Tuesday....Ric Flair Vs Randy Orton in a cage match.....

Awesome match...made me realize Flair still had it in him.

I can't remember the last time I was actually entertained by a Flair match.

Flair vs. Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship on RAW back in 2002 (03?).

It was the one where Flair cut that promo on Hunter right before the match. They were both part of Evolution and Hunter expected him to just go out and lay down for him. Flair came into his dressing room and said that he wasn't going to just lay down because that's not how the Nature Boy does things. They had a great match, which Flair lost.

Who was it he wrestled in the ladder match (may have been TLC) on RAW? I think it was Edge... anyway, that was pretty good.

Flair vs Jericho a few years back was pretty entertaining. I don't remember exactly when it took place, I want to say 2003.

Can't remember *ever* being entertained by a Flair match. Sorry, never saw what was so special about him.

Summerslam 2002

The TLC match with Edge on Raw a while back.

Flair vs HHH. His promos were gold and the match was good. I really thought he might win.

I enjoyed the little match-up Ric Flair had with Jeff Hardy a bunch of months back.

I still enjoy seeing the Nature Boy in action.

The 1992 Royal Rumble.

Flair had a good match with Shelton Benjamin at Backlash 2004 as well.

Flair has never had a good match.

Flair/Angle on Raw right after Angle got drafted back to Raw.

You mean Shelton carried a floppy sack of leather to a good match>

The last match Flair had that I liked was his TLC. I don't hate the guy.... he's just 12 years too late retiring

The last time Flair entertained me was the time that he came in as half owner of WWE. Obviously, he was not wrestling at the time. I don't rememeber the last time he entertained me in a match.

and probably the best since WCW folded and he came back to the WWE ...Flair/Taker WM18

His matches/fueds with Foley and Michaels had potential to be memorable but I recall them being mediocre if not flat out dissapointing.

Thats about all I can think about actually enjoying from his new WWE run. I enjoyed the Rock and Sock vs Evolution tag match he was a part of. I hope he has one more big match at Mania so he can go out with a bang.

But yes, even though I wish Flair retired a while ago I am a very big fan of this storyline. I hope he just dodges losses and picks up a few upsets until Mania and has a great match that he barely loses to a solid compettitor and bows out on the grand stage.

Wrestlemania 22 because he came out and technical wrestled his ass off for that paycheck, and showed that "glorified stuntmen" how to put on the match of the night
