Steve Nash

Who is more entertaining in the NBA? This guy just seems to own the court. He's the only guy who's entertaining to me as I hate basketball. If he's playing I'll actually watch. Guys like Kobe, Lebron ect are all great don't get me wrong, but there's something about Nash that just captures my interest. Him being Canadian helps, but he's a small guy who makes his teammates better. Who else does that?

Give me reason to watch an NBA game other than Steve Nash.

Kris P Lettus 12-07-2007 01:36 PM

Allen Iverson

SammyG 12-07-2007 01:42 PM

The Lakers are no longer a one-man show, the Lakers are becoming really fun to watch. We play at a higher tempo, and at times look like the Suns. But watch Dwight Howard, he's a man child. LeBron is amazing.

Oh, and of course. Vladimir Radmanovic.

Completely forgot about him. Shows how much basketball coverage we get. Who would you rather have on your team, Nash or Iverson?

McLegend 12-07-2007 02:38 PM

Nash.

It's fun watching the Laker fans boo Kobe.

I'd say Nash because he makes other people around him better while still having the ability to drop 30+ if needed. Iverson could be good for 45 or 50 but I still Nash is more valuable.

Oh I see. They don't... right.

Guess the preseason games and all the sports announcers I saw were all in on some big spoof to trick me into posting my statement earlier ijn this thread. SammyG, I want you to admit the truth. It'll set you free.

Plus he's Canadian.

Nash, easy. He is a playmaker. Even if he only gets 15 points in a game, his team will win. That's what I like. Fuck putting up 50 points yourself and still losing.

That's why I didn't like watching Kobe, run up the floor Kobe shoots every time. Maybe that has changed, but I doubt it.

McLegend 12-11-2007 08:14 PM

Kobe is awsome to watch.

Stickman 12-12-2007 12:31 PM

The guy is talented for sure, but one problem I find with the NBA is it's too much of a one man show. I like the team aspect of sports, watching plays develop and the ball getting spread around. Everytime I watched Kobe his team mates are like "hey guys, pass to kobe and get back on defence".

SammyG 12-13-2007 02:13 PM

you haven't been watching us lately then. Kobe scores 25-27 a game, and everyone chips in, and we win. ALSO, The fact that KOBE hasn't EVER won a MVP is unforgivable.

No its not. Kobe was 2nd banana (see: Shaq) and then he whined and bitched and got Shaq out of LA, then Buss traded Caron for Kwame. NMow the LAAAAAAAAKE SHOWWWWWW sucks ass and Kobe wants out of the mess he created.

SammyG 12-13-2007 05:09 PM

The Laaaaaaaaakkkeee Show is 12-8 with the league's 2nd hardest schedule so far, fatass.

BigDaddyCool 12-19-2007 11:06 PM

Sorry, all I saw was Nash, and assumed Kevin.

Skippord 12-21-2007 12:08 AM

Chris Bosh is awesome to watch.

mostly because he is in fact turning into a Velociraptor

SammyG 12-23-2007 03:40 PM

17-10 :)

what is this we crap? You're on the Lakers squad or what?

SammyG 12-24-2007 11:18 PM

When you've been a fan for so long, you can call your team "we"

therocksays 01-13-2008 02:35 PM

i think nash is overrated, sure he has skills and talented, but you didnt see john stockton get a mvp other than an allstar game.

SammyG 01-13-2008 02:37 PM

Nah. Nash is a tremendous player, I'll give him that. Not really overrated.
