I was lookin at a chat transcript with Hall and Nash on www.kevinnash.com and they were all like, "nWo 4-life" "Wolfpac 4-life".

Or how many do you think still live in the past?

Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan perhaps?

Quite a few of them.

Every "legend" who makes a return is pretty much milking the past, even if they're not totally living in it.

but then there are people like Hogan who are definitely living in the past. Of course, it doesn't help that the WWE seems to want to rehash old concepts and the popular days of yesteryear rather than come up with new ideas...

Vincent / Virgil / Soultrain Jones / Mr.Jones / Curly Bill / whatever else...

He talks and acts as if (and more importantly - believes) that he is
still a big superstar that everyone knows. It's a shame too,because
he probably has some great stories and such, but he even talks (for
the most part) in 'kayfabe' and won't acknowledge the indy guys,etc.
as if he's on a different level than them. :(

Was Virgil ever a big superstar though?

Not a BIG superstar, but he did OK for himself in the $$ department;
and W.W.F. banked some money on him for a time there. He had his
moment like any of the other guys in his time. But yeah,I agree with

Spent a 2 hours car trip with him last year, really down to earth with some really good stories. He still does the whole old school stuff in the ring, but outside he's cool

Well, that's what I meant. As far as his gimmick goes, he is still very old-school. I don't know anything about any of these guys beyond the ring.
