Has WWE's World Heavyweight title belt been changed? I remember the belt having a WWE logo on it when Trips was holding the title back on raw.

Probably. They make slight changes to the belts every so often.

A semi-related question which probably has been asked but I'm too lazy to research: Why is the WWE title still the 'Cena' title?

Because Super Cena is winning it back.

I was talking about smackdown's world heavyweight title. I hate watching Orton's enterance lately. No fucking emotions. Does the current belt have any relationship with the World Championship held by The Rock back in 2002.

I have no proof, but I believe it's a big merchandise sell and thus why they keep it around. Though I am the strongest believer in there being a REAL belt for the title.

Just watched the main event of WM4 earlier...the first showing of the eagle belt. Makes me want it back.

I have a replica of the last WWF scratch logo Eagle belt. I heart it.

Of course, changing it up would actually help sell the belt, you know. Especially if Cena comes back with a slightly different belt, for example.

Given that, for quite some time now, the spinner has been locked in place, I imagine that the stupid fucking belt is here to stay. Or at least until it stops drawing merchandise revenue.
