why did Cutler give all his possessions to Alvarez in his will??

Good question. Did some searching online and all it said that is was like a surprise move that the Aryans were all WTF about.

But if I had to guess, would be because of Alvarez's puppy dog eyes. Like you wouldn't leave everything you have to him when you look into those eyes!

Didnt it have something to do with him training the dog to lead the blind?

i was always shocked because Cutler was in unit B and Alvarez in EmCity, they would have had minimal interaction.
