In Thailand, John Rambo (Stallone) assembles a group of mercenaries and leads them up the
Salween River to a Burmese village where a group of Christian aid workers allegedly went missing.

Hot poster.

Kris P Lettus 12-15-2007 10:47 AM

Someone posted the internet trailer ages ago and it looked like a gore fest...

AKA

RP 12-15-2007 11:02 AM

The only way its good is if its a gore fest. And this should be Stallones last sequel to anything aside from maybe the movie he played that fat cop.

Cop Land

YOUR Hero 12-15-2007 03:04 PM

He needs to blend both of the Rocky and Rambo franchises into one last climatic movie. Like seriously, someone needs to make this happen.

Jura 12-15-2007 03:13 PM

He's investigating a crime which leads him to Thailand where he does Rambo stuff and all the running around and not eating much makes him lose the gut but he gets captured eventually and if he wants to live he has to compete in a fighting tournament *cue training montage* but beats everyone so they have to bring in a mysterious foreign boxing champion.

Jura 12-15-2007 03:17 PM

He wins but at the end he gets drugged and wakes up 200 years later in cryo-stasis. He finds out the foreign boxing champion was frozen too but released 1 year before him and has wreaked havoc on the town. This leads the police force to turn him into Judge Dread to use his "caveman" ways to bring down the boxer.

YOUR Hero 12-15-2007 03:21 PM

jura, you're on to something!

and while all this is going on we also learn that his mom wasnt able to go on with life with out him so she froze herself.....then unfroze when he was unfrozen forcing him to take care of her once again.

Sorry...thought I would add a little Stop of my Mom Will Shoot in there...

The MAC 12-19-2007 03:30 PM

some tango and cash too.

BigDaddyCool 12-20-2007 12:06 AM

sweet

BTW, Rambo > Punisher.

94 SVT Cobra 12-20-2007 04:36 AM

Rambo> everything else that tried to copy it.

HOWEVER

Rambo=predator (stalone and arnie are tied in my eyes.)

Skippord 12-20-2007 11:43 PM

I really want to see this movie

The Lone Wolf 01-14-2008 05:49 PM

Butstead of thailand it takes place on clifftops!

Boondock Saint 01-14-2008 10:56 PM

Can't wait.

Shaggy 01-14-2008 11:17 PM

Im wondering how much gore will be in the movie...after viewing that unrated trailer for the film it never hit me, but earlier today I was talking to a few people and it hit me that they couldnt have all that in the film or else it would get a heavier rating than R.

Heros Welcome 01-26-2008 03:36 AM

Figured since the movie just came out I would give it a bump.

Saw it tonight, and I gotta say that I am shocked that it was given an R rating. Everything was just so brutal. The acting itself was nothing to take home. Your just sitting there waiting for the guns to start opening fire, and there is nothing wrong with that. I never saw Rambo 2 or 3 but I did see one and thought it was very good, so I would put this one behind it.

But if you wanna see a movie that is not so hot for dialouge and just wait for the blood to start spilling, then hit this movie up. Its worth the 10 bucks.

The Lone Wolf 01-26-2008 04:13 AM

i think it is one of the best pure action movies in a long time. it is just classic in your face violence that you expect to see when you go to see a rambo movie.

Champion of Europa 01-26-2008 04:22 AM

It may be the most violent film I've ever seen.

Boondock Saint 01-26-2008 04:26 AM

Seeing it tomorrow...sounds right up my alley...an old-school action movie.

WestNZ 01-26-2008 07:13 AM

cant beleive it, another Rambo, when it comes to my town, im there

wwe2222 01-26-2008 10:59 AM

Saw this last night...perfect length in time....good action....right to the point. I enjoyed watching it, and ive never really been into Rambo. It would be hard not to root for Stallone

Nowhere Man 01-26-2008 03:05 PM

The last half of Rambo makes 300 look like the Care Bears movie. Fucking brutal.

The Gold Standard 01-26-2008 04:34 PM

A great action movie. Everything about the movie was great. I did not see the first 3, but I still enjoyed this one a lot. I would say its worthe the money to go see it.

RP 01-26-2008 04:43 PM

I'm gunna see this Thursday

Boondock Saint 01-26-2008 08:48 PM

Loved it. So awesome.

Downunder 01-26-2008 08:57 PM

Much like slowing down when driving past a car crash, morbid facination is going to make me want to see this movie.

Crimson 01-26-2008 08:59 PM

Either this one or cloverfield tonite...i'll aim for this one.

Shaggy 01-27-2008 02:16 AM

I heard the first part of the movie was crap but the last half an hour was the best thing ever made...

Im gonna go see it tomorrow just because I love Rambo

Mr. Pierre 01-27-2008 03:57 AM

I saw it last night and it was really good :y: Not as good as the original Rambo though. Regardless, go check it out.

ClockShot 01-27-2008 03:32 PM

Just got back.

Hell of a trip. Not to long, not to short. Just right. Kinda bummed cause there wasn't a Rambo war scream. Would have been a higher score just for that.

Shaggy 01-28-2008 12:44 AM

I cant believe that this movie lost to "Meet The Spartans"....What has the world come to?

Indifferent Clox 01-28-2008 01:24 AM

Ok Ok Ok OK...OK

okay?

Is this more brutal than

1. Resovior Dogs
2. Hostel
3. hard Candy
4. Kill Bill
5. Grindhouse (either)
6. Saw
7. Bad Boy Bubby
?
