WHat exactly did he save? He is a shell of his formel self (2002 was good) but I'm not feeling this Bon Jovi look-a-alike on TV.

I doubt he'd go far. And if they do give him the title, it will be like a 3 month reign at most, and I don't even think they'll do that.

The promos will be great. It's the matches are questionable. Jericho is great, but still shaking off ring rust. I don't think he can carry JBL (who will also be shaking off ring rust) to a good match yet.

That campaign ran just a few days shy of 2 months, if you wanna check your facts. Everyone knew he was coming back, and if you watched the show when the save_us bits ran every week, you'd see that at first the crowd picked up, chant "Y2J". But they kept pushing it it back. No Mercy was too soon to blow their load. Cyber Sunday probably would have been perfect, all things considered. But the fact that they didn't even make it happen at Survivor Series was kinda sad.

What makes anything I've said weak or bullshit? The man came out and gave a decent promo. Was it as good as it could have been? No, but it's better than what most of the guys on the roster could dish out. He had a match the next week. Was is it a 5 star barn burner? No, but it's not like it was Masters vs Khali out there.

All I'm saying is given the circumstances, Jericho's done well with the position he's been put in. I'm not saying he's this glorious savior and everything smells like roses now. It's definitely not. About the hair thing though, I do think it makes a difference. Not that I'm gay or anything, but the hair was a big part of his look. Let me put it this way. If Stone Cold came out next week with a bowl cut instead of the shaved head, would you still look at him the same?
